The fact that she's in a family photo with an imperial guardsman is a pretty solid fucking clue.

There's nothing suggesting that it is an eldar in that photo.

Also, feeling sympathy for the enemy in 40k is a pretty grim concept, because of all the massacres and genocide and whatnot going on. it makes a crapsack world even worse.

Feeling sorry if it was her lover on the other hand, well, that's pretty much a given. Doesn't really say anything about the world, or paint it in any new light.

shit... I didn't think of that. Hell, even the child herself is a danger to her parents.

The parents might accidently open their warp eye upon a child incapable of actually defending itself as a full navigator would.

The child itself might open it's own warp eye, and the navigator parents would be at risk, and that's unacceptable. The human servants are expendable.

Shit...

>> No.41506343

>>41506160
I never realised how bloody harsh being a navigator is. Having carried one for 9 months, given birth, and then the baby is just snatched away...

The GM kind of homebrew the rules though, it since he couldn't find anything about it:
- the child has a natural resistance but could die if you open your warp eye on it, not a given but seriously don't even try. But you know how kids like to grab stuff and put their plump little hands on your face? Yeah, that includes the bandanna.
- Warp eye actually opens around puberty (apparentely this is something actually canon and some kids needs a small surgery to get it out)
- Navigator duels are a thing, so if the child opens its eye in the parent's face, it's going to be really fucking disagreeable but most likely they'll live

Add to that the fact they are a precious commodity and often navigators are alone on their ship (mine is), so the party has to sit around waiting for their navigator to make a kid, and they're sent back basically as soon as they can walk.

Needless to say my character is now extremely bitter and sad around children.

In a wide but shallow blast crater filled with cold rain water, in the days dying light of a burning world, ragged men in filthy crimson tunics stand at rigid attention in thin ranks in front of a young Lieutenant. The smooth cheeked subaltern's face was gaunt and dirty, his eyes baggy and darkly circled. "Report Colour Sergeant!" he shouted in his best command voice.

'Sir! The 2nd Company, 288th Praetorian Guard Regiment reports 24 able bodied, 36 walking wounded, 79 dead, 5 missing. Sir!" Bellowed the grizzled campaigner.

A scant week before the Lieutenant had been the 2nd Platoon commander. With Captain Blevins gone he was the acting Company Commander at the tender age of 21.

The Lieutenants voice, throat dry, cracked ever so slightly "Very Good Colour Sergeant." Stand at ease.

"Men, I have not been able to raise Regimental Headquarters for 2 days now on the vox com. None of the 4 runners I have sent have returned. Ammunition is critically low. The filthy Xenos have surrounded us. I have our final orders here, if such a contingency were to occur. The Emperor provides. The Lieutenant opened the blood stained and dirty envelope that Capt. Blevins had pressed into his hands with his dying breath, still coughing up blood. With fingers trembling ever so slightly he opened the crimson red wax seal, breaking the embossed Imperial Aquila and removing a single piece of paper.

"2nd Company, Attention to orders"!

The men snapped to attention rather smartly all things considered. Months of tutelage on the parade grounds back on Praetoria, eternally ingrained into weary muscles were not so easily forgotten.

"Fix- Bayonet!"

"Fix - Bayonets!" echoed from the lips of every acting Platoon leader to acting Squad leader. As blades rattled from scabbards and clicked into place over the muzzles of M36 Lasguns.

"The 2nd Company, 288th Praetorian will advance!"

Colours to me!" The acting standard bearer smartly did an about face positioning himself next to the Lt.

Shaky hands brought the hefty chain sword to the Lieutenants shoulder, at the ready. He glanced 5 paces to his left center rear.

"It has been an honour to serve with your Colour Sergeant Jones." All weariness gone from his voice.

Eyes locked straight ahead in a steely stare, body at the position of attention for the millionth time at the position of attention over a long career the veteran replied "And you sir, you'd have made a fine Colonel one day. For the Emperor." the slightest trace of sadness in his voice.

"For the Emperor indeed Colour Sergeant." the lieutenant nodded. In a second that lasted a minute he caught a glance of the last wisps of the beautiful pink sky. Gulping down a lump in his throat and steeling his voice he shouted.

"At the quick time, Forward- March!"

Under the last rays of fading pink light under the twin moons of Gaxor IV, the remainder of the 2nd Company, 288th Praetorian Guard Regiment did smartly and at the quick time advance. Thin ranks covered and aligned, dressed right and smartly, like on the grinder in Pretoria. Chests out bellies in. Shoulders square and chins up. M36 lasguns empty of charges, or near, tipped with clean bayonets, properly maintained per Muntorium regulations held waist level at the ready.

The Lietenant whispered under his breath "Lord Emperor for what we are about to receive, make us eternally grateful".

Advancing over up and over the muddy slope of a shallow blast crater and into withering shuriken fire.

After the Company Colours had fallen but before the last Guardsman did his bayonet was red with Xeno blood.

For the Emperor.....

Then fall in lads behind the drum
With colours blazing like the sun.
Along the road to come what may
Over the hills and far away.

Brothers at heart, Darius and Marius knew even before their enlightenment by the hands of the ruinous powers that they'd be together forever. Their names matched, they liked the same types of women and drink, and on their homeworld as PDF they each saved eachothers skin. Darius even helped pay for Marius' mother's funeral when she succumbed to Hive plague years ago. That all seems like a distant memory, almost like a childhood. Now maturing beyond their years, Darius and Marius knew they had a higher cause beyond that of some crazed madmen chanting about some dead man on a throne. They had purpose in the form of visible gods and their deeds. In this new life, they were treated as potentials rather than relegated to the bottom forever. Sure, they may have been at the bottom, but there was finally a chance to move up from their delegations in life. Darius always boasted about the upcoming battles, that he would be the first of the two to slay a loyalist scum and he'd be recognized first. All in good fun of course. Marius would call him out, telling him he was weak and full of shit. One day, the two blood brothers finally were given the glory they wanted. It was the eve of the battle that both obtained identical tattoos on their faces bearing the mark of Chaos. It bound them together in that moment as they both shed blood from the crude tools used to etch in the markings.

Darius, as usual, claimed that his markings were blessed and that Marius received false depictions. Drunk on Alcohest, Marius in a moment that would make Khorne smirk in the slightest degree bashed Darius with a metal rod hanging nearby, taking out one of Darius' eyes. Darius screamed at first, then started to laugh, stating that it was all part of the plans of the gods. 10 hours into the battle Darius and Marius were at the front lines, still heated at one another over their little spat the night before. The task of their unit was to take Bunker 2346 on the defensive line of the Hormungjard defensive line of Titus IV. Armed with state of the art lasguns freshly plucked from the battlefield, salvaged armor and the blessings of the gods, their unit advanced headlong into the bunker. Immediately braps of heavy boltgun fire flew through the air, slaughtering dozens in the first minute. Marius hid behind a nearby rock for a moment to evade fire. "Damn me!" Marius thought to himself as he realized his cowardice, but he couldn't bring himself to move forward in this fire. Darius, sporting a helmet augmented to give him better vision due to his lost sight in one eye, approached him and laughs. "You aren't worthy brother! How can you hide on such a day as this! We are on the culmination of our rebirth as immortals!". Marius can only give a glare as Darius charges off, scavenged meltagun in hand.

The boltgun fire eventually ceases, and Marius garners the strength to leave his cover. The bunker they were tasked with destroying was pulverized, but where was Darius? Dozens of comrades' corpses littered the battlefield, some Marius even recognized from his home planet, some completely foreign in origin or due to the influence of the ruinous powers. All of a sudden, Marius stopped dead in his tracks, spotting the smoldering remains of what was a comrade in an all too familiar helmet. His heart stopping for a moment, he rushed over, nearly collapsing on top of the remains. Seared beyond recognition by massed lasgun fire, the corpse, or what was left of it, beared all too much a resemblance to that former friend who sneered at him what felt like hours ago. "Oh Darius! You were right! I am not worthy!" The words seem to slip out of Marius' mouth like the fluids from the sores of Nurgle's gut. "I was never worthy! Never worthy of having a friend like you!". Collapsing over the charred remnants, Marius feels an emotion reminiscent of that day long ago at his best friend's mother's funeral. Is this empathy? Depression? Marius cannot discern what it is, but it hits him like a brick wall. Unable to restrain himself, he digs his hands into his face, tearing at his fresh markings. "I don't deserve this. I never pleased the gods like you could Darius! I'm sorry Darius! Just tell me I'm weak Darius, that I failed, just talk to me again please..."

One of the most fucked up things I ever read was one of those war journal collects written by British troops at Somme (I think) and one of the passages was about the bloodiest day or whatever on the battlefield. The one passage that always stuck with me was this guy who wrote very in depth about finding a severed human hand torn at the forearm with the wedding bands still clearly on. He couldn't tell which side the hand belonged to but he talked about how he knew somewhere in Europe a woman would be grieving.

This comic always reminded me of that when they have that pane that zooms in on the Guardsman's wedding bands.

Last feels thread somebody posted the scene in which Malcharion decides that he already had his glorious ending (being reawakened and besting the same Blood Angel again -also a dreadnought by that point), and that he might just step in to save one single human serf. His deeds of glory have already been done, and he is fine going down with everyone remembering his fight as a dreadnought being his last stand. So he might just as much save her.

"Who would do that, throw away his glorious ending for the life of one human being?"

He couldn't tell if his consciousness was receding, or returning to him, he couldn't tell where the pain started or stopped, when the rasped, labored breathing would finally cease. He was in pain. He was tired. He was dying, and yet they couldn't let him die. Even on the brink of death, they relied on him, and even with his mind splintered by the pain and the effort, he knew that. They needed him. They clung to him in desperation. He couldn't die.

Some of them tentatively entered the large chamber. They were afraid, gathering around, standing close, a few of them holding each other. They didn't dare to look at his dying form. Most were silent, some had prayers on their lips, but fear, yes, fear was everywhere.

Something vague hit him when he saw a woman with red hair. Did not one of his wives have red hair? He thought he remembered so, but he did not recall her name of face. She was not his first, that much he knew, but he didn't know which one. It all felt like a blur, faces and names smudged together, too long ago, too distant. Still, he had liked that hair. Actually, he probably had had several with red hair, but he didn't know anymore. There was a brief memory that flashed before his eyes, warfare, the other tribes, loosing her. It was distant, and strange, it felt like remembering a dream. He didn't know if he still dreamt. Sometimes all he heard were screams.

He gathered his mind together, felt them, their own, fragile spirits agains his own, and he finally reached out. Most screamed in pain and horror, some minds just shattered when he touched them, some clawed their eyes out, and the screams resonated and filled his mind, the hall, his ears and something beyond.
He had done what needed to be done. They'd go on, spinning fragile threads of communication across the Imperium, a fragment of him in each of them.

He didn't notice the girl with red hair lying on the ground, and how they carried her lifeless body away.

Path of the Seer has quite a bit of fluff on wraith constructs. How aware they are of what's going on around them is largely dependant on how strong the soul chosen for the duty is. As the strongest souls are interned in the larger constructs, wraithlords are generally more self-aware than wraithguard. A wraithlord can keep a coherent conversation and consider strategy, wraithguard need to be more or less herded.

This is the real 40k feels, not some cheesy bullshit with dead dad and all. 40k's feel comes from things like these Emperor's sons literally killing their own brothers out of loyalty (to the Emperor or their Primarch).

You want some weaboo, cheesy intraspecies romance tear fest, then 40k is not for you.

40k's tragedy and feels comes from the betrayal of the ones you love, the insurmountable weight of the galaxy crushing those who look up to you, the utter thankless annihilation of those around you for what they believe is greater than them.

But the biggest feel of 40k is the regret of past sins. Of Fulgrim realising he killed his best friend Ferrus, of Kharn's few moments of lucidity as he is aware he could've walked away from all of this madness a long time ago, of Horus begging his Father to end his life before Chaos once again consumes him, of Corvus witnessing the horrors he brought upon his Legion after the Itsvaan massacre. And of course, of Ollanius Pious standing between the Emperor and Horus, standing his ground where so many other greater than him faltered.

THAT is 40k's feel. Get this fucking weeping eldar out of here. No eldar weeps for the Mon'Keighs.

Orks are creatures of war and death. Deprived of it they waste away as other species would deprived a vital part of their diet. It is the slowest and most agonizing death an Ork can face. But that is not to say that Orks do not have a kind side, a decent side. A side that allows them to feel fondness of others.

"Oi, Boss, where ya goin'?" asked Graknob, before a sharp smack to the back of the head from one of his fellow Nobs silenced him. Ghazghkull Thraka, greatest Ork Warlord the Orkoid race has ever seen, did not even stop in his plodding steps as he walked away from his main tent in the camp. Some of the boyz had objected to moving the Waaagh off course to visit this small, unknown, out of the way planet. 'Itz already been smashed, why we'z goin' here?' some had asked, but never loud enough for the boss to hear. The Nobz waited for their mega-armored warboss to be out of earshot before answering the new member of Ghazghkull's retinue.

"'E's off rememberin'" said one, an old Ork named Griksnak who had served their boss for many many years.

"'E can remember jus' fine round 'ere. What's 'e rememberin'?" asked the curious Nob, uncaring of the death-stares he was receiving from his fellow Nobz.

"Think 'bout it dis way, ya git. Us Orks love ta fight, yeah?"

"Yeah, even a snotling knows dat!"

"But da boss keeps sendin' us 'gainst da 'umies. Dis is cuz 'e hates dem. Now, why'd da boss hate 'umies?"

Graknob remained silent for a few seconds, pondering the question he was asked. "Cuz dey got ugly faces?"

The other Nobz just shook their heads. "'E lost someone ta 'em." Graknob looked around, confused. Everyone knew it didn't matter if an Ork died, he just got belched back into another body. He couldn't understand the feeling of loss.

Ghazghkull had shed most of his mega armor by the time he got to the top of the hill. Being an Ork, the act of removing armor seemed... unusual, to say the least, but it seemed appropriate to approach this site somewhat vulnerable. After all, he was meeting with the one being he knew would never harm him.

"'ey. Uhh... not sure what's I suppose'ta say 'ere. Jus' wanted tah, y'know, say 'ello. See how ya's was. Dose 'umies who got dat lucky shot off on ya? Yeah, dey dead. 'Dere planet is dead. Got lotsa da bastards. 'Ope dat helps out somehow. Wells... I's be goin', den. I... I misses ya, boy." Ghazghkull Mag Thraka turned and began walking down the hill again, leaving the grave he had been speaking to behind. A grave that simply said:

Makari

Banna Wava

Everyone knew Orks were belched back into another body after they died. Not Gretchin though. No Gretchin could ever replace Makari.

An Ork WAAAGH!!! lands on a desolate Necron tombworld, and the soulless automatons quickly arise to eradicate the infestation. Every single one of the boyz is vaporized, and sterilization fields are activated that kill off even the spores. But through mutation and sheer luck, one spore grows so quickly that it escapes the sterilizing fields. A single ork is born.

He acquires a choppa and pistol from the ruins of the orc's encampment, but there aren't any boyz to be found. The ork looks about uncertainly, then smiles and with a tentative "WAAAAAGH!!!" runs off in a random direction - the boyz left without him, so he'll just have to track them down.

He wanders the dusty wastes for weeks. Once he sees smoke, but it turns out to be the remnants of some spilt fuel containers. He plays with the fire for a while, but moves on - after all, the real fun will be when he catches up with the boyz.

Then, to his joy, he finds one of the entrances to the tombs. Down in the vaults, he gazes across row after row of inert Necron Warriors. He runs through the halls for a while, roaring and firing his Shoota, trying to liven the place up a little. Eventually he walks over and punches one of the Warriors in the shoulder; it simply tips over. The tomb remains inert.

Since he's the biggest, the Ork figures it's his job to whip these funny-lookin' boyz into shape. He gathers a bunch of them together in a pile, then stacks a few more to form a nearby podium. Standing on it, the ork gives a rousing speech about how this is a sorry lot but he'll get them shipshape soon enough. He tries all sort of things to get a WAAAAGH!! going - insults, violence, praise and flattery... He tries hobbling around on folded knees, thinking that if he's smaller someone else might go and do a better job of starting a WAAAAGH!!!

>> No.41520004

>>41519995
Eventually he goes up on the surface again. He heads off and after much searching manages to find the camp. Nothing there has changed. He grabs up as much dakka and choppa as he can carry and hauls it with him as he spends several weeks looking until he finds the tomb entrance again. Staggering over to where all his boyz are, he dumps the huge assortment of weaponry down and looks up hopefully. The moment stretches out as he stands there, looking on with a tentative smile. Eventually he starts picking up choice bits of weaponry and offering them to the Necron warriors. None show any signs of interest.

He tries fitting in for a little while, by standing in the same posture and not moving. He pretends to leave and then sneaks back and peeks around the corner to see if any of the Necrons move.

He just wants to fight with somebody, just once. He wants to get shot up, to ride shotgun, hooting and hollering. He wants to meet a Wyrdboy or a Nob or a Dok or Big Mek. He wants to chant and pound the ground in unison with a massive crowd, to sail through the stars to a new world, to play catch with another Ork using gretchins.

Just once, he wants to hear somebody call him something. Just one time; then he'd have a name.

He wishes he knew why the boyz left him behind.

He knows he'll find them, though. Some day...

The way I always saw it - Space marines are literally children who never grew up. I'm not saying that as something bad. They never grew up because Imperium needed some elements of childish nature in it's protectors.

What defines a mature man? He's calm; he's collected; he knows when to fight and when to admit defeat; he understands the value of compromise; he's not ashamed to question what he sees and doubt what he feels; he's accepting to his own imperfections.

He's everything that a Space Marine should not be. What makes people functional members of society also makes them worse guardians of it.

What Emperor to protect humanity needed were little boys, who without a doubt knew what's good and what's bad, who never learned to admit their defeat, never accepted any compromise, never forgave any imperfections, and who dream about how they will fight monsters, show no fear and save everybody.

So the Emperor made these little boys strong, gave them weapons, armor and tactics and most importantly - made their dream true. He put them up to stand against the real monsters, and they fight them like they did in their childhood daydreams when they only had sticks and toy pistols. And just like in those fantasies - they fight the evil without knowing a bit of fear.

And every day - they save us all.

Yup, you get kind of hopefull they will turn out alright and go back to Terra (though I don't see how a guy with the tattooed symbol of a traitor legion on his back and who made a baby with a Navigator would be fine there). Then you get Decimus epilogue.

My theory is that Variel in the end managed to take their kid, probably before they reached Terra. Octavia and Septimus' kid would have been raised in the Navigator spires, and I don't see Variel infiltrating Terra.

>"Luther was the loyalist and Lion the traitor"
Naaaah. That kinda fucks with the theme.
That would mean that their Primarch did something they are terribly ashamed of, but they still venerate him for some reason. While the guy who supposedly saved them sits in the deepest chamber of the Rock (how is he still alive if he's pure form Chaos?), awaiting to be forgiven by Lion (the traitor!) for... something.

What makes a lot more sense is Lion mourning his own lack of insight and poor leadership that allowed many of his sons to fall and his homeworld to be destroyed. And the Dark Angels themselves being guilt-ridden for their weakness in the face of both their father and the Emperor.

No loyalist legion had their marines turn to chaos en masse during the heresy except for Dark Angels, which illustrates them as the least loyal of the loyalists. Their brotherhood had failed their father, their Emperor and their homeworld, and remembering this weakness is what keeps them strong. Better than anyone else they understand that a moment of laxity spawns a lifetime of heresy.

They can't be secure about it even though the most of the legion stayed loyal because the hatred of this ancient fault in themselves is what fuels them. They remember well that their greatest enemy in the Heresy were not the daemons or the traitor legions, but themselves. So they remain ever vigilant over the others and thousand times more vigilant - over themselves.

Of course. There are literal descendants of traitor legions among the current loyalist chapters, but no one who knows that actually minds, as they understand that Heresy was 10 millenia ago and those of Perturabo's or Fulgrim's children who serve the Emperor today share no treacherous will of their fathers. Dark Angels are even least deserving if the blame in their eyes.

No, it's the Dark Angels themselves who are their own greatest prosecutors. They can't forgive their own treachery, so that they can't forgive that of anyone else. Them being so unfairly unforgiving and cruel to themselves is what makes them so cruel and unforgiving to their enemies.

This is the cross they chose to bear to make themselves better servants to the God Emperor than they were in the Days of Heresy.

And then there's the Fallen, working as the most useful shadow of the old failure to forever remind Dark Angels of the core of their fight. Every time a Lion's son goes to battle with a Fallen, he knows - the greatest enemy is not the one with all the chaotic sigils, banners of hatred and ancient curses on his armour. No, the most dangerous foe shares your colors, bears your markings. He wears your skin, and he has your own face

Again, this is purely headcanon because I like it, and think it's really an interesting story. I adopted this part when I was roaming Lexicanul and ended on the Fallen part where it can be interpreted as such, when a chaplain says to a fallen "you were right" and then kills himself. Do note that another anon explained that it was more related to the fallen's claim that the DA had forgotten their duty to the people of the Imperium to focus on the Hunt. Again, purely headcanon on that part.

Now if someone could copy paste the part I'm talkin about, I'd be grateful, I'm on a phone and Lexicanum fucks up. It's at the end of the article of the Fallen.

Canon says that Lion was loyal, but he indeed was neglectful and paranoid to many of his own children and his mentor. Plus there was a fuckhueg daemon inhabiting the crust of Caliban, and Legion is indeed not that pure in the core. And the Fallen indeed had a plenty of other reasons to fuck over the Imperium.

So the point is - Lion was loyal, but it was indeed the Dark Angles' own fault that many of theirs betrayed the Emperor.

Luther and every Fallen will skub at a DA for this, but there are evidence that Lion was all bu a traitor.

Also there were Fallen that sniffed out what is going on and tried to warn the Lion, but the pro-Luther Fallen cockblocked them from doing stuff.

Thus there is here also the extremely high probability that a crushing majority of Fallen Dark Angels are still loyalists and the rest either don't give a damn and are mercs/renegades or are Chaos Marines.

A record of the apparent motivation for the actions of those Dark Angels who would become the Fallen exists: the confession of Astelan, once a Dark Angels Chapter Master. This testimony, extracted by Interrogator-Chaplain Boreas, contains the following claims: Astelan himself is supposed to have ordered the attack on the Lion's approaching fleet, with the approval of Luther, because the Dark Angels on Caliban believed that El'Jonson had fallen sway to the powers of Chaos. Astelan claimed that while the Lion had been lost in the woods of Caliban as a child, he had had a brush with Chaos and had never quite lost the taint of darkness from the incident. He pointed out that while El'Jonson had moved through the Warp towards Terra to join the defence of the Imperial Palace, he had moved at what was believed to have been a deliberately slow pace; a pace slow enough to determine who the true winner of the conflict would be before committing his forces. Astelan believed that by attacking his fleet, the Dark Angels stationed on Caliban were doing the work of the Emperor.

Astelan further claimed that Luther never fell under the sway of Chaos but was driven by his duty to the Emperor, fearing the traitorous nature of El'Jonson. Also, he revealed that, apparently, the majority of the men who had been garrisoned on Caliban were original members of the Dark Angels, Terrans who had been inducted before the arrival of El'Jonson as Primarch. This existing form of divide may have also contributed to the conflict on Caliban. Finally, he claimed that, in the ensuing battle between the seemingly loyalist Lutheran Angels and the possibly suspect Lionite Angels, Luther attempted to negotiate with the Lion before any more were slain. Refusing to talk, the Lion hastily ordered the bombardment of Caliban and descended to crush the Fallen in combat. Luther then apparently fought the Lion only as a last resort and mortally wounded him only when he had no other choice.

1. Old fluff of Half-Eldar Space Marine
2. BL Novel "The First Expedition" had Eldar and Humans living with each other in harmony
3. GW did an interview with codex writers, Kelly outright states there are "many hybrids" in Commgorath

Now, if you can point to be explicit fluff saying they can't, I'll concede, but you can't.

The best you'll do is "hur dur old fluff doesn't count" followed by "hur dur BL isn't canon" followed by "hur dur interview doesn't count", yet don't provide evidence to support you. Then, when pressed, you'll quote the 7th Eldar dex which describes them as "much more alien than their appearance suggests", when I push you to say this doesn't explicitly say it, you'll say "Xenobiology says so", finally, I'll say that just mentions the long gestation period.

You then disappear or carry on shitposting no evidence.

Wut? Both sides are ridiculously brainwashed. That conflict was as much racial as it was geopolitical and the west has itself to blame for that. They spent 30 years pumping Japan up as "honorary aryans" then wondered why all that praise and shit went to their heads and they went full batshit jingo.

The drill sergeant and propaganda posters?

>That conflict was as much racial as it was geopolitical
It was all geopolitical in nature and just used the racial approach as the ammo to dehumanize the enemy, which is the necessary element of every armed conflict.

>they went full batshit jingo
>be surrounded by weak countries
>know that the gaijins will waste no time puppeting them and using them against you
>wat do?

If I were Hirohito, the only thing I would do different would be getting me some more competent military command and not doing the Pearl Harbor. opposing the Allies in South-East Asia was indeed very wise on his part.
