A top down atmospherics simulator with a "whodunit" on top. Survive in the station and do your department's job, while fixing the problems that the antagonists cause.

We are a separate entity from /tg/ station, we just host our threads on /tg/ as the server was made by fa/tg/uys for elegan/tg/entlemen.

We occassionally run Dorfstation mode, a roundtype where the crew must build up from a bare-bones station. Dorf is usually run Friday evenings, around 4-7 PM EST.

Join the server and read the rules and changelog (located at the top right of the game window). The changelog has been cleaned up to show changes starting from the base code of the /nt/ branch.

Code branch from NT (also named d20Station) is updated a few times every week with fixes and new content.

If you have a bug, contact an admin in-game or on the thread to report it.

Note: This is NOT SS13 general.

if an energy shield is hit by a damaging energy projectile its integrity gets damaged wether it is reflected or not.

As long as it has charge though, it will always block the shot at the least. Reflection is a bonus.
Also forgot to mention the shield can only turn on when it has 40 integrity or more (at least ~32% charge).

the gaming mat will be, essentially, a table that you can walk over, and will have a couple of different skins to select (for example, chess) so that people don't have to fuck around with weird items or turn arrivals into a giant checkerboard just to play their chess

I'm trying to flesh out more feasable aspects of the game before I go back to trying to get it to work properly. Pretty sure feature creep has gotten a hold of me on it and I'm really only 20% done to a very basic working body that can manage its inventory effectively and respond to situations.

There's only four ion guns, with science being the only other way to get them, which is fucking BULLSHIT.
Cargo needs to be able to order an EMP crate with grenades pistols and rifles galore to put science down and remind them of their fucking place.

I'm working on an item that has a sort of transformation state - really just an icon_state change to an animated sprite of it transforming, then another icon_state change to a static sprite of the transformed item.

The only issue I'm having is that when I test it, the game randomly picks a slide of the animated transformation sprite to start from, so instead of starting from the beginning and having a smooth transition from one static icon to the other, it starts midway through and repeats when it comes to the end until it reaches the point where it began.

Is there any way to force dreamseeker to always start playing an animated icon from a specific slide, IE the beginning?

on the list is I have to write out an onhit proc for thrown items for riot shields.

Riot shields will only block attacks depending on the directions the mobs in question are facing. If you grab or disarm them from a direction they're not facing you can easily disarm them (unless it's on their back). The shields however do break under sustained fire pretty easily as well.

Yesterday was one of those rounds, It managed to consist of utterly nothing, yet still be really satisfying.

>pissed with too much to slip on, get space cleaner from janitorial closet and use that everywhere
>something blows up APC's in several locations, lights out in main corridors, air is leaking bad

>fix 2 of 3 APC's, seal off a load of holes, order air cans and litter them everywhere to resolve the problem
>Telecomm satellite goes down and gravity fucks up, add a generator to temporarily keep it running, and add a solar tracker later to get it back online fully

There's very little I didn't do in this round. I almost went to blow up the station by singularity for the hell of it, since it seemed this would never end. Only didn't to give Anubis the chance to reach 1K health, though no idea if that happened as I went to bed for work the next day.

Fun fact; the empress has the ability to spam the toxin which hurts people and stuns them. Aliens also have one harm intent which also has a very high chance of stunning a person.
So for me, I got off, toxin shot, got off a couple shots, and then the empress stood over me and spammed harm intent, so I was just stuck there until I went into crit.
Not sure how it went for the other two, but I'd assume it was about the same.

game mats are about to be committed - you can flip them over to change their environment color, and they act like tables for item placement (like the chess boards do)
items like stools, chess boards/game mats, and bedsheets will finally drop at pixel_x and _y 0, to boot

Different servers have different standards. One such sliding scale is the "level" of RP. I've never personally seen a Zero/No RP station, but then, I've never tried to find one.
We're technically Light RP, because we don't demand much beyond "make passing attempt at job, don't meme, don't grief, don't metagame, otherwise do whatever."
Medium RP servers typically demand forced player ignorance beyond just no-metagaming, and High RP is tantamount to getting involved in a forum RP on some fanfiction site.
