33584858 No.33584858 [Reply] [Original] [4plebs] [archived.moe]

We had such a good time being Dark Eldar that we're going to do a whole series of this

Hello good Tau, va'yan, how's your evening going? Let's have an interesting poll, excuse my impertinence if perceived, just curiosity

>1. Your age
>2. Your caste and sept
>3. Which is the coolest caste and why is it Kor?
>4. Do you have gue'la or other strange beasts on your world? How does this make you feel?
>5. Would you ever do it with another caste if nobody found out?
>6. If you could choose any caste and sept what would it be and why? NOTE: This is not an invitation for anti-Tau'va trolling. Don't think I won't report you.

OP will throw his in later

Mom and dad told me Gue'vesa aren't allowed to pilot crisis suits, but ever since I saw some XV-89's on a training field I've wanted to work with them. Is there something I can do to contribute to Tau'va while being around these lovely machines?

>> No.33585132

Gue'vesa are indeed very useful for Greater Good in the purposes that you are able to serve. Why, I have myself known many "humans" who have been quite friendly and pleasant to be around! I am sure our fine technology is quite interesting to you with its elegance and lights. By doing what you are best capable of doing, you are already keeping it working!

Holy? Gods? I'm not sure what those words mean. Are you a Vespid? Or perhaps a Demiurge?

Anyway, the Imperium already tried attacking us once and they got turned back the first time they ran into a Sept world and not an undefended colony or outpost. The Earth caste has made even better weapons since then, and the Waster caste is rolling out brand new ships purpose-build for battle to aide in future defense.

The Imperium will turn tail and run the first time we bloody their nose, just like they did last time.

I remember when I was with the Shas'O... seems a thousand centuries ago. We went into a camp to inoculate some gue'la children. We left the camp after we had inoculated the children for eyerot, and this old human came running after us and he was crying. He couldn't see. We went back there, and they had come and hacked off every inoculated arm. There they were in a pile. A pile of little arms. And I remember... I... I... I cried, I wept like some Por'Saal. I wanted to tear my teeth out; I didn't know what I wanted to do! And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it... I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought, my Aun... the genius of that! The genius! The will to do that! Perfect, genuine, complete, crystalline, pure. And then I realized they were stronger than we, because they could stand that. These were not monsters, these were men... trained cadres. These men who fought with their hearts, who had honor, who had comrades, who were filled with love... but they had the strength... the strength... to do that. If I had ten divisions of those gue'la, our troubles here would be over very quickly. You have to have tau who are moral... and at the same time who are able to utilize their primordial instincts to kill without feeling... without passion... without judgment... without judgment! Because it's judgment that defeats us.

Earth Caste engineer here. If it makes you feel better, we have been working on was we call an Anti-Cohesion Drone.

Basically it is a drone designed to fly right up into the middle of enemy groups on repulsors, and then fire quick plasma bursts out of side mounted ports that give it 360 degree coverage. It is designed to basically shoot plasma shotguns at multiple people in melee at the same time and force the squad to scatter or die, and best of all? If it takes critical damage while its proximity sensors detect it is engaged, it self destructs and turns its body into a giant shrapnel grenade.

Assuming we get it working as advertised, on a scale of 1 to 10 how willing would you be to fight something like that?

I can tell you haven't had a good square meal in a long while. What would you say to sitting down for one, maybe you could stay a while, we can give you three and water so clean you will swear you are tasting heaven.

Did you sleep well? I heard that sleeping on those things can cause you to have some real trouble, how about spending the night on a real bed? It feels like your floating on clouds.

Maybe it's the long hours at work. I heard they purged a few of those guys you worked with and a few more died or were crippled in work place accidents. If you want to work we can give you safety and a real say in what you are doing, you're not just a number to us.

We heard about all the people they took from your planet, screaming, kicking into those black ships or conscription crafts, how noone could sleep because they were plagued with nightmares for weeks after. We heard about all those times you never had enough emotionally or physically because all the resources you worked so hard for and the people you grew up with were redistributed to serve other purposes. Did you know it doesn't have to be that way?

Could it just be that you are tired of the old leadership? I guess I would be too if the last good leader was the great^10 grandfather of the guy you have leading you now, maybe you would like to choose who you get to follow or even run for office yourself? Maybe you would like the freedom to make choices without risking life and limb?
