i was reading this
http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Sisters_of_Battle
there was a part about sisters being killed in a brutal ways
Note that all of the below actually fucking happened. Some highlights include:
A whole Order turned to Chaos by one Slaaneshi Keeper of Secrets.
A whole Order Mind Controlled by one chaos Psyker.
A strike force of Celestians and an Inquisitor being killed, cannibalized, and sacrificed by the Sons of Malice Astartes chapter for disturbing their victory rites and falsely accusing the chapter of heresy. (Imperium does nothing......apart from declaring them heretics anyway.)
An entire convent of Sisters killed by Grey Knights, their bodies violated and their blood applied to the Grey Knights' armor, so the Grey Knights can be immune to demonic corruption, even though they were already immune to all forms of demonic corruption, due to the fact that they are the imperium's daemon killers. See also: Khornate Knights.

could some one tell/link me the books in which thoose acts are described?

>A whole Order Mind Controlled by one chaos Psyker.
This one is probably from the Ciphas Cain novel. But to be fair it was Space Hitler afterall.

KATHAL, ANARCH OF THE SONS OF MALICE

The Captain of the 1st Company of the Sons of Malice, Kathal was instrumental in the Chapter’s fall from the Emperor’s grace. Kathal and his company had successfully concluded the Cilix 225 campaign, in which three sub-oceanic hives in the rebellious Cilix system were scoured of the heretics who were threatening to depressurise them as an expression of their misguided devotion. The Company’s prolonged victory celebrations, led by the murderous Kathal, were observed by Inquisitor Pietas, a senior member of the Ordo Hereticus, who was revolted at what she saw as practices verging on the cannibalistic. Piatas mobilised a strike force of Adepta Sororitas Celestians, who deployed from orbit aboard their drop pods, making planetfall in the midst of the Company at the height of the celebrations. The strike force found Kathal and his Company a horde of fevered maniacs, having worked themselves into a state of animalistic barbarity over the course of their celebrations. Kathal’s armour was splattered in gore, and blood ran from his mouth as he presided over the ceremony. Kathal and his brethren fell upon the strike force with a savagery the Inquisitor was utterly unprepared for.

The Celestians fought bravely, but their numbers were too few, and their faith, though strong, could not overcome the sheer fury of Kathal and his men. By the light of burning torches, Kathal cornered the Inquisitor, dragging her before his altar where she was ritually sacrificed. This heinous deed earned the Sons of Malice excommunication, and to this day they reside within the Eye of Terror, where they wage a hate-fuelled war against any they encounter, be they servants of the Imperium, or indeed, other followers of Chaos.

>A whole Order turned to Chaos by one Slaaneshi Keeper of Secrets.

Greater Daemons are kind of a big deal.

>A whole Order Mind Controlled by one chaos Psyker.

Some psykers can control entire hive cities.

Only the Inquisitor was sacrificed, the sisters were just killed.

876.M41 The Bloodtide Returns
Chaos comes to the Basilica of St. Mariel on the world of Van Horne. A statue of the Emperor is accidentally damaged during renovation work of the inner sanctum, disrupting the forgotten stasis-reliquary within. As the ancient prison crumbles to dust, the Bloodthirster Ka’jagga’nath, Lord of the Bloodtide, breaks free. At his bellowed command, a tide of gore washes through the vaults, corrupting everything and everyone it touches. The basilica’s guardians and priests, so recently counted amongst the Emperor’s most virtuous servants, roam the nearby streets seizing hapless citizens to use as blood sacrifices upon the tainted altar. For eight days and nights the orgies of gore continue, each fresh death luring yet more Daemons through to the mortal world. Hour by hour, the Bloodtide spreads further and further across Van Horne – it is estimated that the entire planet will be enveloped in a matter of days. On the morning of the ninth day, Sisters of Battle from the Order of the Ebon Chalice assault the basilica. Some Battle Sisters are corrupted on contact with the Bloodtide. Those who endure fight valiantly, but most are slaughtered by the Bloodletters atop the basilica walls. It is only when the Grey Knights’ 4th Brotherhood arrives on Van Horne that the Bloodtide is abated.

>>17998614
Needing a talisman of purity to protect against the Bloodtide’s taint, the Grey Knights’ first act is to turn their blades upon the surviving Sisters of Battle. The innocent blood thus spilled is then mixed with blessed oils and used to anoint the Grey Knights’ armour and weapons. So shielded, the Grey Knights are able to stride through the goreflood without risk of corruption, and they smash their way into the basilica’s heart. A trio of Librarians lead the attack, enunciating the cants of cleansing that repel the Bloodtide wherever they tread. In the end, Ka’jagga’nath is only defeated through the selfless sacrifice of Ordan, Champion of the 4th Brotherhood. Before Ka’jagga’nath’s spirit can escape his ruined body, the Grey Knights are able to cast the Daemon’s dark presence back into the Warp, and the psychic backwash banishes the Bloodtide and the Daemons it drew forth.

No way; the more they relish in martyrdom and tearful immaturity, the closer they get to their favorite army's theme.

I've gotten over the all the "Sisters die in droves" bullshit. No matter how many die, I'll still love them conceptually:

Hot chicks in power armor with big guns purging everything and not giving a single fuck in the name of the God-Emperor = megafuckhugeboneralldayeveryday

Not being a sisterfag myself, but kinda liking that faction, I understand the pain sisterfags feel under Mat and his masturbatory habits.

>A whole Order turned to Chaos by one Slaaneshi Keeper of Secrets

This one is from Daemonifuge I think, if I remeber correctly the greater daemon was imprisoned in some shrine and he corrupted the sisters so they would free him.

>> No.17998693

>>17998684
Ward wrote one thing were Sisters get killed, and he even gave them have a good showing during that.

>> No.17998705

>>17998682
I see the "Sisters die in droves" thing merely as an aspect of their character.

Space Marines live to fight another day. How many chapters have survived the destruction of their homeworlds, survived from only 100 survivors, things like that.

Imperial Guard abandons battlefields to fight where they're needed more.

The Sisters of Battle however don't flinch. They just keep fighting, and fighting, and fighting, and fighting and fighting, and fighting, and fighting until finally the Inquisitor says fuck it, and nukes the planet to cinders.

That's the Sisters of Battle. The guns of the Space Marines, the numbers of the Guard, and the spirit like Necrons.

>THE CASTILE V MASSACRE – 832.M33
>Upon the slaughter fields of fair Castile did our lord Periclitor first seal his pact with the powers of the Warp. A thousand souls were tossed to the Empyrean that day. Most savoured of all were the Missionarius and the Sororitas, whose soul-screams still ease our sleep each night.
- Codex: Chaos Space Marines 3.5E, The Rise to Daemonhood of the Daemon Prince Periclitor

>The potent weapon had been gifted to him personally by Erebus after the 13th’s heroics upon the stinking deathworld of Jagata VII, when the Coterie had brought down the defences of a war shrine of the Adepta Sororitas, ensuring a crushing victory against the hated sisters holed up there. Every last sister had been stripped of their armour and their flesh ritually debased before being staked out around the outskirts of the defiled shrine, their bloodied forms affixed to crosses hammered into the earth. There they were left to perish, vast swarms of blood-sucking insects rising from the surrounding death-marshes and descending upon them. Their screams had been sweet music to Sabtec that night.
- Dark Creed

Chaos Marines think of Sisters dying to help get themselves to sleep.

plus, he could have developed the Sanctuary 101 event a lot more, with gruesome details, in the necron codex.

He didn't.

Because he doesn't actually give a fuck about sisters, he doesn't get off them being killed, he doesn't hate them.

>> No.17998751

>>17998716
maybe they forbid givng gruesome details...
still sisters are a lot you can kill lot of them and there will be still more.
The sororitas is all about dieng in battle or while being tortured like martyrs

unfortunately they are one of few fappable stuff on warhammer

>>17998684

What do you mean habit? Ward has only mentioned sisters twice, in the bloodtide story where they were killed for their blood (something grey knights have been doing since before Ward) and in the blood angels codex where an inquisitor has some celestians as part of his retinue.

>> No.17998768

>>17998752
He also gave them a brief mention in the Crusader entry in Codex: Grey Knights, naming them as the only warriors more devout than the Cardinals Crimson.

>> No.17998775

I'm fine with them dying because of the whole martyr angle they got going on. 40k is suppose to be silly anyway.

Right you are, I also forgot that he wrote the fluff for the 5th edition sisters of battle codex which has them killing entire space marine chapters again.

not all sisters day
most of them kill instead
