Warhammer War Gear:
Warhammer war gear that you think should exist.
Explain the rules behind it. Because I honestly think more choice means more fun.
For Example:
Imperial Guardsmen.
Bayonet
+2 pts per model. Gives guardsmen +1 A
Makes the lasgun assault 1 due to over firing with the bayonet causes the blade to melt damaging the gun.

The Sisters of Battle HAD a bayonet in C: WH. It allowed rerolls to missed attacks in CC.

Assault 1 would make guardsmen retardo-powerful if they kept the 24" range. That would mean move-firing guardsmen from 2' away that can charge for 3 attacks if you get too close.

I'd love it if guardsmen could get a 3+ armor save somehow. Even if it was ludicrously expensive. 15 pts per model for imperial storm troopers and not allow them to run or something? They also won't be allowed to deep strike or infiltrate or scout if they get it.

Here's a crazy idea.
Sandbags:+ 20 pts for the squad to get a 5+ cover-save if they don't move from their initial starting position. That or maybe make them have to spend on turn setting it up?

Here's a crazy idea:

Issue the "Incoming!" order from your Platoon/Company Command squads, and improve any cover save by 2 degrees. (I.E. in the open its a 5+)

I was thinking of a one time extra d6 inch roll but if you roll a 6 you get rendered immobilized at the end of the movement.
