this mini is what marked the downfall of gw for me.
i remember how dispaointed i was about the mini, i mean its fucking nagash who sat on his throne for 3000 years and then got up and resurrected gigantic undead armys.
and they gave him a fucking blank skull for a head and fucking ridiculous wizard clothes.
then they tried to make up for the suck by making him extra big so you can see every shitty detail of the mini.

The Steam Tanks aren't meant to be T-90s. They're experimental and primitive. The model reflects that accurately.

In this case, the poster was so wrong that I will personally take the time to erect a monument as a testament to how wrong he was. Then I will carve his likeness into the monument so that for ages to come, people will be able to see the face of the man who was so wrong his mistake had to be preserved for all time. Centuries from now, his descendants will look at his image and cry bitter tears of shame at the thought of just how wrong he was.

Yea. The problem with the new Daemonette models isn't the return to the old, androgynous lobster-monster look. It's the fact that they lack any trace of elegance - they look like mutated humans, not swift, unnaturally agile daemonic monsters. The old metals captured that wonderfully.

Actually if you wanted to be mathematically accurate it was infinitely less funny than he thought it was on account of it not being funny at all. Thus the amount it was less funny than his intention becomes effectively infinite.

And if were talking about the Possesed models, then both are equally awful, both in terms of models and rules. There's nothing they do that Berzerkers can't, and in anycase why take either when Plaguemarines are available?

>> No.14543876

Hopeless cynicism is every bit as self-deluding as blind optimism. Both the Bloodletter and, later on, Pink Horror plastic kits took their main design cues from the older styles of Daemons rather than the metals that they were replacing. Hence, it's far more likely that the 'new' look for the Daemonettes was taken from the old retro designs, rather than some attempt at stopping children from looking at tiny metal boobs.

I have one of these kits. My friend assembled it as is for his nurgle army and it looks fantastic, far better than the older model even if it's the same "look". I'm going to convert mine but regardless, I couldn't do it if it wasn't this size and plastic.

New GK's are better, force weapons > +2S. Loss of Fearless (and Fearless wounds) does not matter, although Purifiers still have it.
