Well, figure out what part of the hive-world he's from, and how he got shanghaid into an Inquisition team. Did he work with the planetary nobility? Then he might have refined manners and a taste for luxuries. Was he stuck in some forgotten underhive grotto, eating nutrient paste? Did he work with the sewage recycling pits? Did he have to fight Rodents of Unusual Size in the ventilation shafts? Is he handy with a gun, or is he focused on knowledge and ritual? Does he value his teammates, or is he going to do anything to save his own skin?

So for instance, if you were actually going to rip off Gordon Freeman's backstory, you could say that he was a in a research facility when a cultist incursion caused an invasion of mutant creatures. The facility was locked down so that everything inside could be sterilized/starved out, but your techpriest managed to survive by some combination of skill, luck, and desperation. And because no one was supposed to know what happened in Reactor Station 11-phi, the investigating authorities handed him over to the presiding representative of the Inquisition. Bing bang boom.

I have a question /tg/.

How do tech-priests treat the cybernetics in themselves? Do they treat it with the same veneration they give other tech or are they more care-less (as careless as a tech-head can be with mechanics)?

Also: Do cybernetics have machine-spirits? Do they see themselves as "kinda-machine-spirits" when it comes to teir own bodies? What about those who have cybernetics but aren't Macine-God worshipers?

Umm, standard FTL drives, I think?

But that sounds too mundane. We have to think of something else.

year 2: intro engineering, metaphysics, total spent=12
year 3: intro mathematics, astrophysics, total spent=24
year 4: intro comp-sci, advanced astro, total spent=40
After school: robotics club X3, study X1

robot: Anthrobot

Okay, I think this works. I think my job would be building defenses, establishing infrastructure, and repairs for anyone that needed them. Straight up support. Would it be possible to turn my anthrobot into an assistant instead of a war machine? 'Cause I think a pair of engineers would be more effective than one and his guard.

It is known that Brother Clarke's suit of power armor is one of a kind invention that many Techpriests would love to examine.

Called the R.I.G. by Brother Clarke, this suit is the epitome of practicality.

At first glance it looks like a rare suit of personal power armor with a helmet with glowing visors (which are the Magos' symbol). In reality, it is something much more.

The suit incorporates many technological marvels that other Mechanicus members widen their eyes when they see Brother Clarke in action.

The suit is hermetically sealed, a life-support system, has small rocket engines and magnetic footing that allow Clarke to operate perfectly in zero gravity conditions and in void space.

Thanks to the reinforced servos and mechadendrites, Clarke can utilize most of his personal arsenal simultaneously with what he has in his hands (or leave said hands free to work on what he's currently doing, while the servos and dendrytes shoot or hit his enemies).

The suit also includes the dreaded stasis field generator and gravitronic gauntlets that Brother Clarke has either created personally, or he reverse-engineered from existing technology.

The first freezes everyone and everything that Clarke targets, while the latter allows him to manipulate objects with such ease that normally it would be required to have the strength of a Bloodthirster to successfully move said objects.

Apart of having these techno marvels, Brother Clarke has one Necron artifact, which is a cube with a extremely spacious pocket dimension that allows him to store weapons and items of various sizes.

It is rumored that apart of his suit that he currently uses, he created many other variants build for various uses (some even being as big as Terminator Armors).

Oh Boy...too much to go into detail.
>Hell themed Chaos Marines (Word bearers + Slaanesh + Black/red armor)
>Necromorph themed Chaos Marines (Use mutations to create new bioweapons from the dead/dying)
>Genetically enhanced Falloutesqe Vault themed IG
>Space Marines who watch over basically the Jedi Enclave from KotOR
>Renegade Dark Eldar Archon with Haemonculous Advisor who specializes in mandrakes and Haemonculous creations.
>Small warhost of stealthy Eldar who quietly assist the Imperium, for their own benefit.
>Blood Axe Orks who have become equivalent to scrap merchants for a small number of planets in the galactic east.
>Tau who treat humans like the Combine Overwatch does.
>Lovecraftian Necrons
