WW1 is best world war!

I've got a platoon of Germans and Russians which I use for Through the Mud and Blood.

You might want to look up Great War miniatures for some of the finest ww1 miniatures out there, the only glaring omission on their part is late war French forces, the others are all there for the Western Front.

You might want to wait a bit for the plastics Victrix is going to produce, we dont know much on those yet but I suppose we will learn more next month at Salute.

dude my Germans are definatly WW1, they are wearing the uniform that was common from 1916 onwards, the miniatures you posted (with the pickelhaubes) are dressed in the early war uniform that was slowly faded out.

Especially the Pickelhaube was soon replaced (helmet with nice spike) because the spike gave away any soldier that was going to stick his head over the trench parapet.

"Silly primitives, pigs are not people" he muttered as he went to wax his moustache.
Meanwhile the Maori was laughing and eating bacon.
