Rolled 20, 4 = 24

I played mine like Doc Octo, with 4 mechatendrils for close combat.

Our campaign has gone for 2 years now, and my character is almost complete with omnissiah now.

Augmented eyesight, 4 mechatentacles, 2 plasmacutters inbuilt into both arms, shields(DM gave some archeo-tech) lasgun oveshoulder like in predator movies. I am geared for our Hulk-explorations.

When the creature first came to me it was a pitiful wretch, an abject thing of tics and twitches and senseless ramblings, as one fallen into mind-rust or struck with palsy. Dragged into my workshop as an unsanctioned technomat and least-heretek, it huddled deep in its filthy red robes, a tatterdemalion of scraps and rags and crude augmetics that squealed and chattered with every flinch and spasm. I almost pitied it. Almost.

Those garments were the first layer to be peeled away to reveal the sins beneath. They were not the last. How curious, I thought, that it should understand the nearness of its unmaking there in my laboratorium. How like a man, that it begged for mercy even as I went to work upon it. How close to human, that it should plead with me to halt in my examination, a convulsive torrent of gutter-Gothic and degraded binary, between shrieks of apparent agony; desperate, mangled exhortations that only firmed my resolve to see its miserable existence ended. And yet the nearness of its mimickry made it only more unsettling, more repulsive.

It is a travesty, a vile mockery of the blessed human form. To pose as an initiate of the Mechanicum, to perform the holy rites of a Tech-Priest without proper sanction, that is transgression enough to see the perpetrator rendered down into servitor components. But for this creature, this thing, to pose as a man, as a being possessed of volition, autonomous thought, a soul? It is perversion, abomination, and the arch-heretic Ryne will be brought to account for the horrors he has spawned.

Remember a Good quality MIU will give you a +10 to BS tests on a linked weapon. A Targeter (War Zones section of the Inquisitor's Handbook) reduces all penalties to BS tests by one step.

This is correct and sensible.

ALL CARAPACE ARMOUR, ALL THE TIME.

And that's only until we can afford power armour. Then it'll be ALL POWER ARMOUR, ALL THE TIME.

Power armour counts as formal dress in the Imperium.

Being a walking tank that can lay waste to foes with weaponry from the Dark Age of Technology, shoot lightning from his hands, and bolt on extra arms for every occasion.

Feels good man.

I'd like to get my Tech-Priest some Mining Helot Augmetics, but noticed that they only have Common quality: +10 to Strength and Toughness, -10 to Agility, 1d10 Insanity because of the brutal nature of the augmetic surgery.

Is it fair to say that paying the mark-up for Good quality could remove the Insanity cost and maybe reduce the Agility penalty, on the grounds that more refined components and more careful surgery are involved? Or would that be munchkining it a bit?
