So I'm making a army list for my chaos army. Now I'm using some proxies for this to make it so it's just something to keep in mind

Alright, so I am working on my chaos army list after having a total of one game. Now it's not finished as I'm stuck wondering what I should do. I would like some opinions on what I got so far. I don't have a whole lot to work with, and I am new to this.

I'm guessing this is a thread intended to invoke a negative response. That being said, I'd like to share my very positive experience with 40k.

Starting off, I bought nothing more than six bikes and a landspeeder. I complimented it with a paper army and used it for a year before I bought anything else. When I did buy more, it was about 90 orc boyz for fifty bucks from a friend. I use "counts as" to play these guys as just about any army I feel like.

My friends and I all look at fan-made erratas that balance armies, or make our own rules.

It's also a slow game with lots of rules. For this reason my friends and I play with snacks, and we chat a lot during the game.

It's not an expensive game, or a poorly done game. It just seems like one if you give a damn about the "official" stuff or play in tournaments. People interested in trying the game should be aware of this. Personally, I love it.

Ok /tg/ I'm gonna be buying Dark Vengeance. Now I've never painted a day in my life so I thought I'd ask for advice. Mainly, what products do you use, like spray primer that you find at a home depot or walmart? Do you spray the sprue or assemble then the mini then prime and paint?

Any advice would be great, cause I don't want to do a bad paint job on these mini's cause they look so good. Also I was wondering, I plan on doing a Chaos Preheresy color scheme Emp's Children army. What primer should I use, black? Cause I was thinking maybe black primer for purple and gold wouldn't be that good, but I want a darker purple so maybe black after all?
