And the only way to get those zerkers around is in an overpriced transport that's better at sitting back and firing at the enemy at range than being up in the opponent's face.

unless you really want your expensive as fuck close combat super squad toting it around in a dinky rhino.

>implying Kyras wasn't so un-khornate that he needed to sacrifice an entire sector just to get the god's attention
seriously.

like, Most daemon princes transform pretty quickly (nemeroth is a good example, but even Eliphas at the end of the Retribution campaign too). Kyras needed ENORMOUS PILES OF SKULLS just to trigger a VERY SLOW transformation. The second those offerings went away? BAM, goodbye immortality.

Not to mention Kyras was corrupted by Nurgle first.

>>18069064
It's a good example of what happens when chaos actually TRIES to corrupt them.

>playing World Eaters
>even considering personal safety
nothing scares people more than when I roll my Daemon-Weapon dice. It's psychological warfare merely placing him on the table.

Run, Cowards! I hunger!

I am planning on having cultists of the extremely obscure Chaos Gods Ans'l, Mo'rcck and Phraz-etar in my Dark Heresy game. I'm fluffing them as extremely powerful Greater Daemons of Chaos Undivided that are seeking godhood, ala Bel'akor, and I was wondering what their domains would be. So what ideas for a new chaos god do you elegan/tg/entlemen have?

Do any of you have weird headcanons about 40k? Mine is that Pertuabo's Daemon Prince form is basically a superobliterator that nigh-instantly consumes all technology he gets his hands on, resulting in him being essentially the size of a titan and covered in guns.

No one uses plasma cannons in my area. And with 16 man squads, it's pretty easy to get cover saves

Serves them right, I'd say. They need to learn the hard way.

It's even better when they try to kite backwards despite being kitted out with flamers and melta-weapons

The cowards! The fools!

yeah, though the reaction to 4+ saves against chainaxes was hilarious

Footslogging Orks made some of my most memorable opponents (I also footslog). An entire game of COME AT ME BRO

>models on the field at the start: 100+ orks, 50+ marines, assorted walkers on both sides
>models on the field at the end: 6 orks

I mean, it's like a monkey-paw wish, but you'll still get it

actually, they've got cybernetic implants in their brains. It's basically lobotomy, and when turned on, makes them.. well, berzerkers.

death guard in rhinos are probably the best troop choice in the game

just throwing that out there (I'm a World Eaters player myself)

Iron warriors could easily enough represent plague marines, provided you give them enough bionics

>I have in mind a scene where the Acolytes must fight a Warp Hound in a lightless maze of twisty little passages, all alike.
Make sure it doesn't play by the rules. Crashing through walls and stuff

good idea though

With any luck they'll feature in the new Tau book.
