any thoughts on the new chaos daemons (40K)
couple of ideas I hade, 20 fleshhounds joined by 4 heralds of khorne on juggernauts. Scout 12'' before game starts, almost a guaranteed charge on the first game turn (if playing second).
Also Horrors behind aegis defense line. Go to ground for a 2+ cover save and reroll "1"s.
Only concern is lack of anti - flyer shooting. Any thoughts?

What is the consensus on Khorne? I've heard suggestions on here that berserkers don't make for a very good army. If so, why is that?

I hold that there's a difference between forcing someone into a confrontation or murdering an ally in battle frenzy and just acting off of an impulse to snuff them.

It's the difference between tossing a weapon to someone's feet and telling them they can either pick it up and fight or you'll shove it up their ass, and just backstabbing them.

I had all my gear. At least, all the gear that I was keeping. I'd said my goodbyes to the other Undivided cultists. With nothing but joy in my heart, I left our little camp and prepared to join my new ranks on their ship, to seek out a sense of fulfillment that I could only get at one place.

I was humming a merry tune as I reached the first checkpoint. "Who do you think you are?" one of the two "guards" hissed.

"A pleasure to meet you," I said cheerfully. "Please pardon my intrusion, but I'd like to join your ranks."

The two guards looked at each other for a long moment before a slow, wry grin crossed their faces. "Is that so?" the other guard asked, approaching me. He raised his hand. In the split second, I made a decision to take the backhand he offered. Pain builds character, after all, even if the force of it almost made me drop my bag. "Why don't you just turn yourself around and go home. You don't have what it takes to join us."

That put a frown on my face as I checked to make sure my lip wasn't bleeding. I decided that I'd have to work a bit, get passed these guys, and try at the next checkpoint. Why could nothing ever be easy?

Lynne was steaming, to say the least. "Why aren't we just landing instead of talking with these Tzeetchian bastards?"

I smiled at her. I had to at this point -- if she got any angrier and we might not make it to their ship. "Because they insist that their way is best. And if we go ahead of them, there's the very real possibility that they might shoot us in the back so we don't interrupt their plans. I'd rather get down to the planet and do some real fighting, wouldn't you?"

"Why we go?" Bruk wasn't the smartest Ogryn in the world, but he was good where it counted. I never got tired of watching him literally crush Guardsmen between his oversized hands.

"Because, my friend, once upon a time I had sworn myself to Chaos Undivided, stupid as I was back then. Combined with my heritage, I proved to be rather good at dealing with their ilk. They like throwing about fancy words, it makes them feel sup... It makes them feel like they're better than you. Since I can talk on their level, I get to negotiate." The word felt foul on my tongue somehow. For some reason, that made me happy. "To see if there's a way that we both can be happy with this engagement."

"I'm sure their tea has nothing to do with it." Tekia, the second biggest person in our little band, decided to add her thoughts to the mix. "So why are we coming with you? And him?"

She was referring to Novus, who tugged his robes around him a little tighter. It wasn't often you got to see a former Techpriest throwing their lot in with Khorne. "You all are going to go on a tour of their ship, to see the marvels of Tzneetchian engineering." I paused to take a breath. "Please, I beg of you all, try not to kill too many of them."

Trust me, even Khornate cultists get the shaft. With the big guys around, it's up to us to scour the battlefield after a good bout, nabbing the best weapons. Not the Guardsmen had any of the good stuff. I wanted to get back to a good feral world. They had good axes, swords... usually.

I spied a commissar's corpse and grinned. Usually you could find a good sword on those guys. I was just reaching down to grab it when I heard the high-pitched scream of anger. I turned to see the boy charging at me. Again. He was holding the sword (Where did he find that?) over his head. Bad form. With a sigh, I casually stepped out of the way of his inept charge, tripping and pushing him at the same time. I didn't bother to watch him fall. Instead, I turned to my squad.

"Tekia, I hate to impose upon you, but could you please collect him?"
