How would the 21-hour ritual with 65 successes on average (in practice, usually 55-75 successes) work without advanced prolongation and advanced area-affecting factors? Let us see.

A two-day duration for a prolonged spell costs 4 successes, and every 2 days after that costs another 1 success. A 30-day duration would cost 18 successes.

The number of successes required to purchase regular area-affecting factors for a ritual works out to 4 successes for a 16-yard radius, 5 successes for a 32-yard radius, and then doubling for each success from that point. For 23 successes, we can purchase a 7,670.54316-kilometer or 8,388,608-yard radius, still enough to cover the planet.

With a total of 41 successes spent on duration and area, the Potency of the spell should usually fall in the 14-34 range (averaging out to 24).

So, even without advanced prolongation and advanced area-affecting factors, ritual casting is still broken.

(Character) is only a little like you. She may be popular, or she may not, but no matter what she's impossible to ignore; she stands out... just the way you always wanted to. She may have sometimes thought that she was special, or destined for greater things, but probably dismissed the idea as a fantasy. She's got no emotional scars to speak of. And you've been sparing with the free handouts: whatever she gains, she's worked for.

In general, you care deeply about (Character), but you're smart enough to let her stand on her own, without burdening her with your personal fantasies or propping her up with idealization and over-dramatization. (Character) is a healthy character with a promising career ahead of her.

It's a Mary Sue test that actually has me happy with what I have instead of telling me that my character is too bland or too Mary Sueish!

Oh whoa, it's still being done!

Definitely a good thing that we'll finally have the full version of the official one, I've wanted to play with it for a while.

Would be nice to have the book itself in English and PDF form too, but that's wishful thinking.

Really? Because last time I checked they had a bad habit of getting turned into vampires, killed, imaginary, mindwashed, etc.

I put the finishing touches on an NPC that's joining my campaign. One of my players just got the Leadership feat, and this is going to be his cohort. I think he'll be pleased with the results.

Since I'm a big nerd, things like this make me feel awesome.
