I had my players fight a Karrnathi Elite Blackbone Fell Troll Immolith Skeleton Bladestorm.

Basically, an evil necromancer had fused the souls and skeletons of several demonic trolls to create a Huge fiery version of pic related that was immune to fire and cold, and used its demonic resistance to gain acid resist. It also had the intelligence and fighting abilities of an elite Karrnathi soldier.

Why hasn't anyone posted Skelecopters yet?

The Party:
Sesus Hravat (Me!) - Fire Aspect Dragon-Blooded who had the rather worldview-twisting experience of finding out his adopted son Exalted as a Solar. Trying to reconcile his love for his son with everything he's ever been taught about the Anathema.
Shen Kai, formerly Sesus Kai - Dawn Solar, my adopted son, and tanky as shit.
Whispering Guardian - Night Solar, archer, master of Overlooked Presense, and deadpan cold toward mortals.
Monkey King - Monkey Lunar, Seneshal of Solar-Something, always shifted into monkey-man form. Kind of a spaz, as expected.

May as well get the disclaimers out of the way too. Yes, I know Celestials are supposed to outclass DB's all day every day in a 1v1, and probably still in a 1v10 or more, but I like playing characters that have to be creative in order to stay useful to the party rather than just being naturally super.

SO, STORY RECAP.

Our game is set one week since the Mask of Winters kicked down the gates of Thorns shouting "DEATHLORDS FOR (UN)LIFE!". We've just arrived in Nexus, ourselves, when a skeleton popped out! It wasn't mine. Actually, like 60 of them just kind of showed up out of nowhere, and the party makes quick work of powderizing them. I did particularly well in terms of kill-count, since I had Elemental Burst.
Guardian spots a huge army of them coming this way, so we move to intercept and delay them until the merc-army can arrive, but when we get there, someone else is already there. With just a casual wave of her arm, the skellies all collapse into a jumble of bones, and we find out this chick goes by the name Foreshadow of Death, and is the envoy of some guy named Mask of Winters. Being that news of Thorns getting smashed hasn't reached Nexus yet, we have no idea who that is, but if he's got henchmen that can make whole armies fall over with a gesture, he must be important.

Sadly, there were no skelecopters, but maybe those can happen later.

Alright /tg/, my two friends are interested in Fantasy, and both like VC.

Difference is, 1 likes Vampires a lot and the other wants to run nothing but liches and skeletons.

How should I ease them into Fantasy. The Lich loving one would also prefer something like Fantasy, but more small scale and where he can still be doing Liches all day every day.

Alright /tg/, I'm gonna run a campaign for my friends. I'm having them invade a kingdom, supported by a squad of cannon wielding half ogres with small goblins on the half ogres reloading the cannons.

I'm including things like modern Russia with Frost Giants invading both the country they work for and the country they're invading, skelecopter chinooks and apaches, and Randy Newman as an evil bard.

I need more ideas on what to add and how I can implement them into the game.

Generally skeletons are animated with magic while zombies are created by some sort of infection or plague. It's much easier to make a pile of bones do whatever you want with magical animation than it is to get a necrotic human to move his ass at a reasonable pace.

Of course, when you realize that skeleton-animation magic is basically limitless, weird shit starts to happen.

>Well, skeletons would have no friction, so technically they could spin, and if you give them swords, they become blenders of death. They could also possibly generate lift, so now you have skelecopters.

>Spinning arm blades

But honestly, skeletons probably wouldn't be that easy to fight with a bladed weapon. There's no flesh to cut, no veins to open, no organs to rupture, no skin to puncture. Add in the whole undead thing and they could make for a encounter their kind isn't expected.

Doesn't matter what skeleton they are, the sheer terror on peoples faces when they see the rotating blades of death flying towards them that are the skelecopters.
