>Players will all get their own space ship which acts as player housing, that you can decorate as you like. Guilds can combine their ships together for larger housing and more options (like guild banking)

>No P2W, devs are vehemently against buying power, probably the only things you'll buy in the cash shop will be accessories and visual pieces, and possibly other executions (no change in damage or effect, just a different looking execution)

I had just found out about The Beast Ork Warlord, and I have to say, why is there so little info about him and his Waaagh? I mean he nearly conquered the galaxy, a whole lot closer than Ghazghkull has gotten, and was only stopped at massive losses to the Imperium. But theres pretty much nothing about him, his actions, and as indicated by his moniker, the Imperium didn't even know his fucking name.

Meanwhile Ghazghkull gets all this stuff about him and he can't even take Armageddon

So is Green Tide with nothing but loads of Choppy Boyz at all effective or is it outclassed by pretty much anything in the current version? It's not that big a deal if not because I'm more about playing for fun then power playing to win every time, but I also don't want to lose every time either.

this is exactly why I love warhammer orcs and orks the best

they're a society that literally thrives around raiding
they spring from a virulent environment that spawns them ready to fight, armed through destroying and looting enemy arms and armor and said environment is spread through the deaths of many of their number

that environment, by the way, is a self-sustaining ecosystem consisting of unique flora and fauna that also just pop out of the ground

and as was mentioned before, they don't scatter into small groups because of their might makes right belief system

the largest among them tells them all what to do, and if that ever becomes intolerable, one of them will challenge and possibly kill them and literally BECOME bigger for it

it's a wonderful, wonderful system

I have a bit of a problem with how orks are portrayed in most 40k fiction. They're usually delegated as the comic reliefs, the only ones who are not a very serious threat and don't have any doomsday scenario of their own, and as scary as a nice big WAAAAGH! can be, it can only do so when the orks are the one and only threat to the Imperium in the entire story. If literally anything else ever shows up, the orks are immediately delegated into sidelines, losing all credibility and becoming a hindrance at most, as the Imperial forces all concentrate on this new and terrible threat.

As a Deathwatch GM, I am concerned about this. If I am going to present my players with a massive ork invasion, only to bring in, say, Necrons later, how am I going to still keep the orks going on and remain relevant in the story?
