Let me break it down. In the fate series, a master is given a servant, some knight of legend, with a story behind them. Anyways a Master of a servant has a command seal which has 3 uses, they can be used to make your servant do anything

Anyways in this scene, a master made a deal with another master, he would spare his life if the guy used his last command seal to make his own servant kill himself, which he did, and so he was spared

Then he was shot by the guys partner
