Except that not only are several traits not available for all weapons, but the price to modify said weapon would be exorbitantly expensive, to the point where it's just easier to have a handful of weapons for the occasion than a single monstrosity (which, to point out, would also be ludicrously heavy, only a single weapon to break, and goddamn near-impossible to repair once broken due to all the added Complexity percentages).

In regards to the weapon size, I think you're reading it wrong. A weapon that is, say, Small (like a longsword) is one that can be wielded by anyone of Small size or greater, not that it's USABLE by ONLY small characters. Hence all the Tiny, Diminutive, and Fine weapons; those mean that a character of those sizes (probably an NPC fairy or something) or larger could wield them. In regards to asking "why would anyone not scale it up", the issue is that it would increase the cost, weight, and would increase the critical error range. (The "Medium-Size Longsword" would, for instance, be 180 silver and thus out of Lvl.1 range, 16 pounds, crit fail on a 1 or a 2... but oh, yeah, I guess it does do .5 more damage on average.)

It's not busted, man; it all works when you use all the rules as they should be and not just take them out of context.

Because every life is precious and should be preserved!

Remember that plenty of countries all around the world outlaw euthanasia.

That's rude thing to say, people are all very similar on the inside. Yeah, it might seem "ugly" to someone, since you're only used to seeing outside of the person, but that doesn't mean you get to mock people about it

Torture is evil! You'd be no better than the villain if you go on him like that. Besides, you could actually kill him if you overdid it!
You should just make sure he can do no more evil. Doing so surgically is perfectly acceptable, just be careful about it.
