Yes, also their making a new version that's more standalone though (its still in development)

D20 bad. they made it because they could, not should. Combat is usually just a more messy variant of suicide in DG

Wow, this site is back up. To quote the original thread:
>/tg/!

>A friend showed me this, and I'd think you'd find it interesting and useful for campaigns in modern or future settings

http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/

>On this page you can listen to and control a short-wave receiver located at the amateur radio club ETGD at the University of Twente. In contrast to other web-controlled receivers, this receiver can be tuned by multiple users simultaneously, thanks to the use of Software-Defined Radio.

>Fair warning

>Note that the setup is rather experimental, and neither continuous service nor good performance are guaranteed.

>This is some creepy shit.

I caught the infamous UVB-76 Russian Buzzer at 4625 kHz, see if you can find a numbers station or some other crazy stuff.

I don't really have an appropriate suicide picture, so here's the closest one I have.

Alright, I'm aiming to start an Delta Green game online and I'm looking for serious players who are interested. Delta Green is a game of desperate men and women in black fighting a losing battle against unfathomable forces of death and madness lurking in lonely and forgotten places and just below the surface of human civilization, against the gaping maw of oblivion ready to engulf us all and drag us screaming into the void.

The world it is set in is almost identical to ours, but one in which ancient alien gods lay sleeping below the surface of the Earth, and dark gods and magicks float among the burning stars in the vast emptiness of the cosmos. Anyone who wants to play shouldn't expect to "win" in every scenario, but you can expect an RP heavy tale of the few struggling against madness.

Delta Green itself is a cell based organization hidden in bureaucratic labyrinth of the American government and it draws its membership from that very leviathan, as well as recruiting a few "friendlies," or people only marginally clued in who have skills DG needs. If you're interested, shoot me an email with a rough character concept.

(Ironically, New Order's 'Slow Jam' plays quietly in the background throughout.)

[Fade in and pan down from the sky to a street filled with police cars, cops with guns drawn. A car arrives, and authority-type people get out. Their jackets say FBI. As one takes off his sunglasses, we see it is Matt Damon.]

Choose federal law enforcement.

[We see a Spec Ops team (led by Eric Bana) moving 2-by-2 with pupose through a shot-up and ruined Fallujah mosque.]

Choose the military.

[A tech-type guy (Jason Lee) sits at a computer screen, wearing big headphones. He looks confused, and turns up the volume.]

GUY: "What the ..."

[Cut to a forensic scientist in a lab (Jill Hennessey, who's been typecast for the rest of her life). She looks at something through a microscope, and jumps back, startled.]

Choose NASA or the CDC.

[Matt Damon stands meekly in an office. His boss proceeds to chew him out.]

Choose lying to your superiors.

[Matt Damon cleans out his desk. You see him putting an FBI coffee mug in a box of his belongings.]

Choose to ruin your career.

[Jason Lee sits alone in a very empty apartment with the lights off.]

Choose no friends.

[Jill Hennessey argues with her husband, who promptly storms out of the house. She looks over at the couch and sees her 6-year-old daughter start to cry.]

Choose divorce.

[Eric Bana gets drunk by himself at a bar. There are booze bottles scattered in front of him.]

Choose life through the bottom of a bottle.

The Elder Sign trinket on the window tells me I should greet them politely, make brief small talk, and excuse myself. Then I'll go back upstairs, clean the Chigago Typewriter, load the drum magazines, cock and lock the .45, call in my "special friends", and dig out the Dust of Suleiman. Then we'll all... mingle. Have a chat. See what the party's all about. See if there's anything else off at the occasion.

Until the Opera starts. God help us all. This is why I should have some bourbon at hand at all times.

Great. That's one of the few scenarios where I can imagine being even more miserable than in real life coming true. I wish I'd played some other game now.
