I LEAVE YOU WITH THIS ONE WORD OF WARNING.

Following this system only leads to one thing. Ever escalating WORDCOUNT WARFARE. Accurate description is so ridiculously important to this kind of fighting. The person that leaves a lot of details out about what they are doing leaves more for the other to exploit.

Example. The guy says I PUNCH. How? How hard? He trying for power or speed? Which hand did he use? What does he do after he tries to land his punch? Or before it? If the other person leaves huge gaps in what they're doing, you are free to decide for yourself while making your reaction post. By submitting the action they've already forfeited their will over the details.

A SPORTSMAN will allow them to go back and elaborate, but you don't have to in the strictest sense. Though it's recommended to help encourage people to keep fighting you. The weird thing about Free Form is the automatic social justice that follows. People will actively avoid total dickheads and only RP with people they know aren't dickheads. Being a dickhead in a fight only leads to people.. fleeing at the first sign of you reaching for your sword.

Bad news: You will start using ridiculously elaborate descriptions for everything out of sheer habit.

Good news: It's amazing what that does for your ability to write in general.
