You are free to govern your empire as you see fit great Emperor.

And yes I fully agree with your stance fairness and the will of the people will determine the end result. This includes both humans and non-humans, which I believe the non-humans hold a majority demographic over the humans even in your empire.

And neither have I good anon.

Oh how the times have changed as the centuries of internet time pass by in a blink of an eye.

Tell good sir, besides General quest, erotic role playing and monster girl threads taking this board by storm what other subtle changes have I made ignorant of?

Convenience of plot I suppose or that the grand summoners simply brainwashed the champions to sign up and even love dying over and over again.

This only paints the grand summoners as sadistic sociopaths.

In my opinion and in my opinion only good sir, I believe the Marian reforms paved the way to more centralized Roman empire.

And centralization within itself is not such a terrible concept in the long run and yes there was turmoil in the short run as one would expect from any governmental transitional period, it contributed to the fall of Rome of course mostly from terrible leadership in the later years of the empire, but the migration of the asian steppes barbarian peoples towards the west and the failing Roman economy and slavery problems were larger contributions to its downfall.

In light of all those circumstances, a more centralized Empire headed by a Emperor where he pays and maintains and organizes the entirety of the army out of his own pocket led to speedier mobilization and quicker formation of newer legions that was necessary to defend Rome from all these external and internal threats. Well at least in theory, as one might think the Roman Senate with all its additional hindering red tape and bureaucracy slowed down the military mobilization process immensely.

To end, I never said the Roman Legion was invincible, but they were very adaptable to combat new strategies and tactics, and paid heed very carefully to the lessons they learned from their defeats.

And what about all these repetitive posts made by misguided gentlemen who preach that /tg/ is the best board on 4chan?

Surely they understand that attracting unwanted attention from the eyes of undesirable ruffians from the larger boards has serious consequences.

And to some members of this board I myself not included of course, find that little detail absolutely arousing.

Well the next day he got outta bed and
She wasn't by his side
He searched the quarter high and low
And the bayou far and wide
The locals say she ran away
But you know they l-l-l-l-lie!

There's a bat they call Lestat
Who will sink his teeth in you
You might meet a creature from a swampy black lagoon
And if the moon is full,
You might meet the loup-garou
Don't go by the river side,
You'll be sorry if you do!

Who shivers when they hear about voo-doo?
Don't lie to me, boy, I know you do!
You better tremble when you hear me call!
'Cause you'd make a lovely shrunken head
You'll be my favorite voo-doo doll!

Sting went by the river,
Now he slays on Bourbon Street
And there's that song by Concrete Blonde about where it's warm and green
And if you go by the river side,
You'll never l-l-l-l-leave!

There's a bat they call Lestat
Who will sink his teeth in you
You might meet a creature from a swampy black lagoon
And if the moon is full,
You might meet the loup-garou
Don't go by the river side,
(Don't go by the river side!)
I said don't go by that river side,
(He said don't go by that river side!)
Don't go by the river side,
(Why's that?)
'Cause you might meet me if you do!

My barbarian friend, I must tell you this.

Some gentlemen would rather sit back and watch the world burn.

Reminiscent of sculpting finely craft sand castles only to let the ocean wash it away to nothing.

Challenging convention is always a respectful, and some may even say, brave thing to do.

However there is a fine line between courage and stupidity, and to the casual observer impossible to distinguish.

While I grace this board once again with my humble presence.

I would like to ask for a gentleman's aide.

You see I am a visage of diverse tastes, and there is one key item, a book, I am most interested in acquiring without monetary financing.

Love in the time of Dragons, is the novel I seek.

If any of you gentlemen have knowledge to the whereabouts I may acquire this novel in PDF form.

I will be most obliged.

The market is small in a human settlement or on a all human plane.

Go to a orc camp, and in their trade quarters you'll find more variety in there then all the human kingdoms combined.

Seriously good sirs, please do a little traveling outside the borders of your walls.

Or do you wish for us to cut all subtlety and allow us the pleasure to blatantly laugh at you?
