Ramanujan didn’t solve most of his work and struggled with clarity and perspective many others later solved his theoretical hypotheses and his Pure mathematics was not slightly intricate as whatsoever on the level of Hardy himself who mostly solved easy Number Theory problems of the time. However Hardy accomplished more theoretically than the Greek mathematicians of their time who could have easily solved all of David Hilbert’s and none of individuals of the same original origins. From what I can tell the merit in helping Ramanujan was possibly scoping in theoretical similarities of Hardy’s own. I myself was surprised at Harry’s decision on a moral level and believe A Mathematician’s Apology created hysteria more than interest of and not involvement of Mathematics. Personally Ramanujan was mostly a sincere Christian man however I he didn’t practise it at a church ever like the rest of us Mathematician men of the previous decades. I also know that he was actually about 58 years old (Ramanujan) when he completed his university course at Cambridge and then lied about it to Oxford which is why I took his life.

It is not rote learned. Chemistry is very easily learnable you must have a mathematics "landmark book problems" approach to it. If you just memorize the theory and the applications you will not have much during tests whatsoever.
