if your cells can replicate, than you can see its not a far jump to imagine other forms of matter and life other than those similar to your own that can do the same.

all it takes is the right algorithm of chemical properties in the right environment to create a self replicating molecule.

now because i again cant possible know everything, my only choice is to use chaos theory.

life can form under different conditions in many different directions, if one tries one could come up with many many different viable means of life to come about only using chaos theory.

an alien race isnt going to have DNA or RNA you fucking moron. in all reality dna and rna are native and most likely will only be found on earth and earth ancestors. (unless planet seeding is our origin but i doubt it)
