i've wanted to be able to send and recieve a simple binary radio signal for a long time now.

i set up a crystal radio that i got from the internet and heard german radio stations, i had to use a big metal air-con as an antenna and i'm not sure if the circuit was set up fine but as soon as i got it set up i was happy and through it all under the bed

so i'm stuck on the transmission, what do i do? i can use a laptop charger to draw current from the mains, then what? i am so stuck. i dropped out of physics but am saving to go back to uni. if i can set up a binary transmitter and reciever i would be so happy, could you help me out?

I have experienced psychedelics. IMO, they aren't a magic source of knowledge, they do provide a feeling of understanding, the thing is, there is no benefit from the feeling. I hear lots of people talk about how they experienced great truths but they never tell me anything useful. all i ever learned from those drugs is that they can make ur day more entertaining. I believe their aren't any truths psychedelics give us. If there are, then tell me how one of our revelations can improve someone's life.

But you see my problem! You can't have one moving without the other, because then you're violating the 3rd law of motion, right?

Yeah, they're pulling each other, so presumably the iron is putting out some kind of "field". But why does it take an hour for it to reach the magnet? The magnet only started putting out a field when it was turned on, but the iron hasn't changed, so shouldn't its field already be at the magnet at start of experiment?
