Sorry, not xrays, ultra low frequency radiowaves

For one, DCA can cause some pretty working neurotoxicity effects at cancer-treating doses. Also it can cause liver cancer ironically enough.

I like the kanzius machine method, since it attacks a trait common to all cancers (susceptibility to heat, corrupted protein tags on the cell wall). Look it up on YouTube for the 60 minutes special, its really cool. There's even a Guy at emmory university who led a project to make gold nanoparticles that stick to cancer cells, so the technique is there and working, all it needs is that X-ray machine and cancer is basically cured

Please.....don't bring Orion in here..

Also, lots of craziness in here. Lftrites need to realize that it's not perfect, there are issues, its just the best option so far.

And anti-lftr people, I suppose....should critically analyze their criticisms instead of overblowing a minor issue or something.

Lets all be reasonable here

indeed. a sad state of affairs. the DoE needs a kick in the pants and the public needs some education.
god i hope my video series can achieve that. i'm terrible at forcing something to be viral

not if we get traveling wave reactors running. those things can drink up U238 like its nothing

...not when I called them.

Then again, region IV might just be weird

not rly.
To be fair, thorium only really shines in a breeder reactor with continuous processing, and the power of a lftr is in the tiny footprint and incredibly burn efficiency. Safety too.

Except, its not like the licensing is stuck in the early 80s, and it takes 30 years to get approval to build a single silicon wafer. Indeed licensing drags behind, but in this case its almost frozen in time.

It's to keep the "rabble" out, the upstarts who aren't familiar with light water reactor safety systems.

The only problem is that is utterly stifles entrepreneurship and innovation in nuclear energy. So they go to France or China instead.

Suffice to say, the nrc really, really fucking needs some restructuring and rethinking.....soon.

Lolno. I never said that.
>>3095856
Oh! Neat. They better be building outside the US, the nrc will put a 30 year minimum wait time on licensing just to start construction.

believe it or not i am a computer science major, but my passion has always been in nuclear power.
i wonder if there are any honest-to-goodness nuclear engineers on here?

oh and, if you are interested in LFTRs, me and another anon made a generic congressional letter thing outlining the concept.

it's open to edit by anyone, toss in any information you believe pertinent

once that thing opens in october, and if it is confirmed to work with no "magic tricks" involved, i will retract every doubt i have ever had about cold fusion

until then, this is a scam

well, there was that guy who verily rustled my jimmies, but he was bringing up a perfectly rational point.

and people who point out Chernobyl or three mile island are necessarily trolling, just uninformed. nuclear energy is one of those rare industries where 99% of complaints against it are totally invalid in some way.

another factor could be that the bullet was extremely hot, and caused the ice to melt and refreeze into a configuration which pulled the friction on the bullet to minuscule levels

but still, that's one of the weirdest things i have ever seen
