Thanks. So, this is beyond God. I really liked the last suggestion - makes me think of the "life is a simulation" and we live in the Matrix. This is good, too. I like that you gave me a more specific subjects. ty, bb.

Thanks. I found what I was looking for on the /sci/ guide website. Well, at least tell me your favorite subject and favorite formula.

In what order should I learn Mathematics?

Basically, I am NEET and full of time but I want to be busy and fill my brain with knowledge. I already have some knowledge but my autism/OCD tells me to learn 100% not just the essential shit so, I want to start from scratch.

Give me a list starting from basic maths (i.e. Additions, etc...) all the way to the highest of tiers of mathematical subjects.

I am asking for...
>List of subject in order of proficiency (beginner to God)
>Books, Websites, Articles and other resources for me to bookmark/save
>Call me a faggot for "living the life" without education beyond high school

To keep this more /sci/ related...
>What is your favorite subject and formula (doesn't have to be the same subject)? Why?
I like a thing from Geometry called "The Fibonacci sequence" or the "Golden Ratio" because you can find it everywhere if you look hard enough. I would research it a little more to maybe find out how to replicate fingerprints.

OK, so here's the deal.

When I was in high school, like other dumb kids my age I decided to cut class whenever I got the chance...my class of choice? You guessed it, math. When it comes to numbers, I'm a god damn retard. If my phone calculator didn't exist to bail me out, I'd be stuck with my dick in my hand for multiple situations in my life.

Now, I'm in a position where I need some advice from y'all, and some direction if possible.

I recently applied for an apprenticeship with a trade in my area. I had an interview already and nailed it (scored very high) and now the only thing left is an aptitude test, which includes reading comprehension (easy peasy) and fucking MATH.
I'm terrified guys, because I know how nigger I am when it comes to arithmetic.

From what I've heard its a basic aptitude test, so the math is going to be lower level stuff..no algebra or lengthy problems, just basic shit such as

>long division
>fractions
>percentages
>multiplication
Etc

I would say I know my multiplication pretty good, can do the 12x12 chart without too much trouble, but the other stuff I haven't got a fuckin clue thanks to my own ignorance and shitty memory.

So the test is in two weeks. How can a math noob like myself learn the basics quickly? What would you do if you were in my situation? What the fuck should I do?

>tl;dr I'm horrible at math and need to learn the basics to pass an aptitude test in two weeks, how do?

17. Cos^3(x)=Cos(x)
(Cos^3(x))/Cos(x) =1
Cos^2(x)=1

on the interval [0,2pi), x=0,pi

Am I doing it right?

variety of algorithms*

They need to solve the cube in different ways, and I test the speed to see which is the fastest.

Need to learn how to build a variet of algorithms that solve rubiks cubes using group theory, and then test the speed of the algorithms.

I possibly don't need a lot of knowledge of group theory for that task, but I have to show very good understanding of group theory.

sucks dick man

I know enough algebra to start learning calculus? does that help?

Sup guys!

So I'm a total math noob, as in, I can't do calculus, trigonometry (i can do it up until identities get involved), matrices, discrete math (any kind, except for high school level sets and logic), and I suck dick at vertices.

I need to have a good understanding of group theory by the end of june.

Is this possible? if so, I'm assuming I'm not going to be able to start learning group theory straight away, so what would I need to teach myself first (so what are the per-requisits for group theory) ?

Xiao!

I've never studied a real science and I thought the scenario highly unlikely and more supernatural than real so I asked. I'm not high just uneducated regarding this. I also don't understand why everyone is using armory from the 18th century and dressing up in civil war uniforms, doesn't make much sense.

I'm sure some of you have seen the 2012 television series Revolution. In the show all electricity goes off and people are forced to live without it. My question is, is that scenario possible in our world? If so, what would cause all electricity to go off permanently?

Women value overall intelligence. Knowing how to get ahead and make dough is what women view as intelligence. They want someone who has social intelligence as well as academical intelligence and not just the latter...
