>get straight As in all my differential equations courses
>get job as risk assessment analyst
>they tell me to work on their dynamic model
>it's a slightly more general problem than the ones we studied in college
>buy a book on the matter, study it for a week
>everything makes perfect sense since I already know the theory
>in 1 week I got on par with the retards who have worked on it for years and I already made plenty of positive changes to the accuracy of the model
imagine coping this hard for your lack of study motivation kek

OP doesn't need to say more. If you read the article for yourself, its pretty self explanatory. The highlighted key points should honestly intrigue you.

If 1 plus 2 is 3, and you take into account the X & Y variables and the vector effects of the constant,
then how much of a autistic dweeb are you?
HAHA! Stupid poindexter.

3A = 30
A = 10

A+8B = 18
B = 1

4B-2C = 2
C=1

C+A+3B = 1+10+3 = 14. That's as complicated as the algebra has to get. Stop trying to act smart when the formula is as simple as that.

The point the teacher is trying to show us is that using computers for solving ODEs is way more comfy than solving them by hand.

What he is looking for is finding a DE that looks taunting, that would take a few pages to solve by hand, and have a program to solve it in a few lines.

The winner must be the one who solves the DE in the fewest lines, or with less operations, and with a rounding error that we've agreed upon.

Miss PDE 2015 is next week anyway so thanks for your suggestions.

Are non linear pendulums like

y''+f1(x)y'+f2(x)y=0

?

Hi there, I'm a Mech Engineering student and for our Numerical Methods class our professor organized a contest:

Miss Differential Equation 2015
We have to submit the ugliest, hardest, most terrifying ODE we can find, and whoever makes the most efficient program to solve it wins a mistery prize.

So, whats the dirtiest ODE you have came across?

It has to be ordinary, no partial DEs please

I'm interested in learning how to make an artificial enamel for human teeth.
Here are some very basic points that will describe what I'm currently looking towards.
1. It should be a substance that will stick to the dentin layer of the tooth.
2. It should be white.
3. Temporary or permanent fix, if temporary(assuming wear and tear from acids), then replaceable.
4. DIY! Do it yourself, somehow.
5. Fast acting. I smoke weed, I like to live fast.
6. Open source.(Capitalism is for the rich :/)

So, make-up for teeth. Protects them, and makes them appear whiter. I'm not really expecting a permanent fix. I imagine that it won't be NEARLY as strong, or as stubborn as enamel.

Simular or in combination with this ->(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gd7fugVCcls)) I expect for it not only to relieve sensitivity, but also make the teeth appear white.

Thanks in advance for any, and all replies.
If you believe I can accurately answer any questions you have, feel free to leave them. Jimmy N, the N stands for Neutron! Am I funny? Why don't you love me!!!!!???
