but really, its kinda weak. unless you want to go to grad school, most jobs are in analytical that pay ~40-50k. masters/phd opens up opportunities to do research and other cool stuff that pays more. if youre just looking for money do engineering. if youre interested in science dont do engineering

they don't care so much about gpa as long as its above 3.0, and make sure you get a good letter of recommendation from your research prof

however, having a higher gpa will get you into a better school, and doing more interesting research will get you cooler professors to work with
