Does the market understand the implications of the actions and choices made? I am not sure.

Most people will not care about R&D but expect new gizmos to materialize on the shelves. Except from when they get old, frail and ill, needing new medicine. by that time, however, it is way too late as medicine takes 15+ years to develop by which time they will be dead by their own decisions.

Not sure "deserve" is the right word. You might say the market deserves the consequences of its actions. And that is not always nice.

I was foolish to have posted this indeed, it is the nature of the lay man to think primitively, but a point that seems forgotten is what i orignially stated when i started this thread
>ask a man who has meditated most of his life anything
If you have nothing to ask, or believe that you will become offended by the answer, why bother asking it?
It is because you are too small minded to even grap this.

some ways are right and some ways are wrong, the misguided can take a right path and also be taking a wrong path, mistakingly they will see the products of the right path as being products of the wrong path. What you are experiencing are merely bi-products of meditation, not of some telekenesis mumbo jumbo

Hmmm, this thread was not like the last i had on /sci, it was more professional. I can see that misunderstandings have arisen and wish not to be a bother, two requests for me to do so and i shall delete this thread

The goal of the wise practitioner is to make himself in every way that which Good, to become that which is Good he must first have a grasp of what that is. The beginner goes through what meditations he goes through so that he may obtain that grasp. Once obtained he becomes embued with the way, every step a selfless step, every cry a cry for another's sake. An understanding unshakable in its wisdom, and undeniable in its product.
Silence breaks into rapture, in awe he sits erect, he sees the true nature of things and in this he comes to realize that he is not the mind, nor the body, but is the Good, and that which is Good everything has its base in. With this realization he bursts through all restrictions, all barriers, obtains a peace incomprehensible for now he is the Good and the Good is he. Enlightenment is obtained.

Certainly, i've never seen it happen simply because i've never met a meditator with a mental illness.
I had ADHD but it susided when i started meditation

What is it you expect? I will see then if i can supply you. I gave you answers, they were not what you expected? I started this thread so that those curious about meditation may see their interests fulfilled.
>ask a man who has meditated most of his life anything
Hence why that was said

Hehe, i said ask a man who has meditated most of his life anything and most of the people who've asked anything were people wanting no know not really anything in general.
Perhaps more questions should be asked, deeper ones for instance that most find to be interesting.
I have done this before on /sci, that one was far more interesting.

it took a year for there to be none all together, at which point i was able to slip into pratyhara, when the mind withdraws itself from outside senses during periods of extremely one-centered focus

The mantras are: AUM
IAO
AUM is the vehicle of the universe, the manifestion of will, the spark of life.
A: The energy of creation
U: The energy of preservation
M: The energy of destruction
Two were/are active now in the universe
A: In the beginning
U: In the now and in the future, when a being dies, its energy is not destroyed but recycled, thus what seems is death is only preservation.
M: Unused, in the end

IAO: a broader meaning, correlating to the destiny of man

imo, thought control should be conquered first, this quells anxiety which brings up these sporadic thoughts and ruins your meditation.
Sit comfortably, become detatched from your thoughts, watch them as if they passerbys, do not grasp onto any thought. At first you will realize that the main thoughts are going away, like ones about events and then you'll start working on the ones like "my back itches". After about a year you will be able to sit down and be completely still in your mind. Start with 5 min, increase every day till you are at 30 min, then i would seek advice on where to go from there
