I'd be interested to see if magnets have been known to bend light even a little bit. as such heat does on surfaces.

where are we on magnets bending it?

not backwards in time....time would just stop moving forward

if you were observing from the space craft at the outside world, everyone would look like it was being fast forwarded. You wouldn't say that a video tap being speed up sees the human watching it go back ward in time - just slowing down

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVKj3LADCnA#t=23m43s

In this video he multiplies 1x3 matrix times a 3x3

but in octave I say a = [1,1,1;1,1,1;1,1,1] times b = [1;2;7] and i get an error

How can this professor perform this operation? doesnt this violate the basic rule of multiplying matrices?

no. science is the act of doing experiments to discover the unknown. engineering is the act of creating something out of what is known.

superfluids only work in extremely low temperatures yeah
but they work because the fluid has ZERO viscosity
what about making a liquid that has lower to low viscosity at more manageable temperatures ? sorta like super conduction except with liquid
