Ask a guy that has a Linear Algebra test, he hasn't studied for, in 4 hours anything.

I think so tim, the original question was
Find K so that the angle between the vectors is 60 degrees
[K,2] , [1,3]

>>1902815
what? do you mean isolate the sqrt( X^2 + 4 ) and somehow square all of the other shit?

>>1902843
No. Never heard of it before. I also didn't put the equation into my TI-89 and find the exact answer of (3*(35*sqrt(10)-236))/268
which helps me not.

What is the algebra for this again? its been a long time since i've taken it

HALP!!!

X + 6 = sqrt( X^2 + 4 ) * sqrt(10) * 0.5

how in the FRACK to I solve for X?
INB4noHomework because this isn't - its from a linear algebra test I took on Thursday and I forgot how to do this shit

So I had a linear algebra test today and I failed on the following questions:

Find K so that the angle between the vectors is 60 degrees
[K,2] , [1,3]

AND

Find K so that the given equations have no solution.
Kx + 3y = 8
2x + Ky = 2

For the first one, I know the equation is:
K + 6 = sqrt( K^2 + 2^2 ) * sqrt( 10 ) * Cos(60)
which equals
K + 6 = sqrt( K^2 + 2^2 ) * sqrt( 10 ) * 0.5

but from there I forgot all my algebra on solving it... PLEASE help me remember/know the algebra step by step on this one.....

2nd equation: I know I set up a matrix -
K 3 8
2 K 2

I care less about this one as it is entirely my fail for not knowing it.
But a guided lesson of help turning this matrix into Reduced Echelon Form would be AWESOME

Will bump with info graphs

well just like glow in the dark material can maintain the vibrations of electromagnetic radiation, so you can hold onto (for a short period of time) the auditory vibrations using voice in the dark materials.
