Nice going there.
Also should you get in a situation as in OP's picture, make sure to bring your Apple remote to have some fun.

I have this 'problem' too, although I'm aware it's pure laziness and omission.
>>4279068
This is good, especially go somewhere you won't be persuaded to go gaming or just do nothing.
I use the university library, and it definitely improved my productivity. And once's you're on the way, you'll find it easier.
The main problem I had when starting this is that I had not followed my classes, and found it hard to do my homework and such. But when you take classes and notes as previously suggested by someone, you will find it a lot easier and also more fun to actually study.
Also, if you are easily distracted by your laptop/social networking. Don't bring your laptop when going somewhere to study. It doesn't work.

I've had a logic class introducing me to propositional and predicate logic. I found it very interesting, but have not found a good use for it.
Propositional logic is really basic, and is quite limited. Predicate logic (it's sequence) is more explaining in a mathematical view. It let's you express formula's more detailed. Some of the laws seemed confusing, but if you have little trouble with maths it shouldn't be too hard.

OP, whether this is an actual subject for a thesis or not. Have you checked encyclopediadramatica? There's some more explanation about trolls.

While I was writing it down on paper, with some more clarifications and truth tables, I realized what they meant. Thanks anyway.

Hi /sci/,
I'm trying to learn the propositional logic basics, but there's something I don't quite get. Hope some of you can help. I've looked up ex falso, but didn't really understand it.
Consider the following:
p,¬p ⇒ q

According to my book, because of the fact that the main points are never true at the same time (for each evaluation), every true evaluation (which supposedly are not there) evaluates the conclusion
as true.
Why is that?

My explanation may have been a little vague, but I'm not really aware of the english logic expressions.

I remember Lawrence Krauss' lecture 'A Universe From Nothing' covers some of this stuff. Not sure if it's what you're looking for.
