its quantum mechanics.

2 aspects of QM allowed this to happen:
1) superpositions, particles can be there and not there at the same time. this means that at any time there was just a small number of animals on the arc, all in a superposition. when the arc was opened the wave collapsed to ALL the species being there.

2) entanglement, Noah was able to gather species from all over the world without actually going there to get them, ass all life is entangled, this allowed him to catch animals near him, but also save those far away.

the green and yellow has to be separated by at least one blue or red block at all times, otherwise it will form a 4x4 square with 1 green 1 yellow and 1 blue/red.
for this to be possible the blue and red must meet somewhere, this will form a 4x4 square with 1 blue, 1 red and 1 green/ yellow where they meet.

its quantum field theory. i dont know of any non tecnical sources so i guess you can try wikipedia, or read an intro to QM first and read intro to particle physics by griffiths.

That second paragraph is wrong.

its not a paradox, something must have no rest mas to be able to go at c, photons have no rest mass. if you want to work with relativistic mass you can say a photon does have relativistic mass, but using E^2 = p^2 + m^2 you can see that it doesn't say you have any mass, since E = p we have m = 0.

electron field, also called the Dirac field becasue it satisfies the Dirac equation.

all particles are just excitations in some field. mass has nothing to do with it.

im not sure of the current form of the higgs field, but if it can interact with itself it should give itself a mass term. (not too sure about this)

>The Higgs boson is not a particle. It is merely an excitation of the Higgs field.
lol wat.

Zwiebach only introduces QM in chapter 12 (of 23) so you should be able to start right away.

unfortunately, no.

yes you should know GR (actually, just the math, so just deferential geometry). QFT is a must,. work through something like An Introduction To Quantum Field Theory and then you can go to A First Course in String Theory by B.Zwiebach.

ok, thats a long way to go then. you will need the following:
Lagrangian mechanics
Hamiltonian mechanics
electrodynamics
special relativity
classical field theory
introduction to quantum mechanics
relativistic wave mechanics
general relativity
quantum field theory

the math you will need is
calculus
linear algebra
differential equations
abstract algebra
group theory
differential geometry

then you can start with string theory

i most likely missed some things. others can add.

best thing to do is look for a textbook on each of those subjects and start from the top of each list.

the technology is there, its been done 50 years ago, its just not commercially viable yet.

if its not testable its not a hypothesis, it should at least in theory be falsifiable otherwise its philosophy.

i forgot about this, its also a good way to take CO2 directly out of the atmosphere.
>the new process can make 15 thousand gallons of diesel per acre annually,

you will need 100 million acres to completely replace oil. that's not even the size of France.

if only we had some kind of way to take all the CO2 in the air and somehow use some sort of biological structure to turn it into cellulose which we can make sugar from. that would solve everything! maybe the people who made the bacteria can make something like that in the future.

children who spend more time with their mother have been shown to have better decision making skills and better control over their actions, so wouldn't lesbians be a better choice than homosexual males? (dont ask for a source i cant remember and im not looking for it now)
