Well, it depends which context we are talking about.

Back in the day, people weren't sure whether light was a wave or a particle, and an experiment performed by certain Mr. Young proved that it was in fact a wave due to showing an interference pattern when going through this set up (and that was that, never got brought up again honest).

With the shift towards quantum, it was found that even matter particles, such as electrons, exhibit this wave pattern.

What is more exciting however, is that even a single particle going through a double slit set up shows the interference pattern (here I mean send many particles, but one by one) that can only be obtained by waves. But when we try to find out what happens to the particle on the way to the detector, the interference pattern doesn't show up. This lead us to the wave-particle duality.

There are some more experiments too, but those are the really big historical ones.

was the bolzano-weierstrass theorem really necessary here? couldnt you just go "by definition, there exists x_1 in K_1 and x_2 in K_2 such that ||x_1-x_2||=delta"?

i mean for fuck sake, this shit is retarded

is the rectangle drawn to scale? if it is, then the ratio of AB to BC is 5/7 and p is 3/7 along BC, otherwise i think there is not enough information
