It is not poorly written. We learn in 3rd grade to separate with brackets so we see how to do it faster and more easily. But it is properly written as seen in the picture aswell.

I was thinking, if time-travelling would be possible. Then creating matter and energy would too. Because you are putting in the past universe something that wasn't back then. Or to be precise, was in a different form.
