And that's with n = 5000.

Thanks. So isn't that exactly what the Riemann sum does?

I've never studied calculus formally, and tried to find a formula to calculate the area under a function.<div class="math">\alpha (f(x), a, b)=\lim_{n\rightarrow \infty}\left (\frac{b-a}{n}\sum_{k=0}^{n-1}f\left (a+k\frac{b-a}{n}\right )\right )</div>
Is that correct?

If on the other hand by high school philosophy you mean poetic babbling, especially loved by pseudo-intellectuals (quickly watch the other girl), in that case, it's useless"

This, I'm not even being pretentious, I'm not even antisocial. Actually I'm frequently invited to parties but politely decline, except when it's about smoking weed at someone's place. And fuck the girls, they're just annoying to be around with.

>> No.1970302 [View]

The bad thing is everyone around me is just being all TONIGHT'S GONNA BE A GOOD NIGHT, TONIGHT'S GONNA BE A GOOD GOOD NIGHT

I hate that sort of party faggotry. I'd much rather smoke weed, play SSB, Ocarina of Time, some old classics, watch science documentaries high and whatnot, in a bro atmosphere.

That's a condensed version of my life with Linux from 13 to 18 years of age. At first I was just curious, but of course like everybody knows, Linux is like The Matrix, shit was cash at the time.

Alrighty, switching to Windows as my main OS after 5 years of Linux on all of my machines. Linux has small bugs, annoying imperfections, professional applications don't run and their open source clones are full of shit, open source is shit, shitty hardware compatibility, no one truly takes Linux seriously (I'm talking about the big stuff, the companies that make professional applications), no games except an age-old Klondike, all the scientific applications are on Windows, looks like some OS made by an Indian man, etc.

Linux will stay on my laptop. I can't understand why I got brainwashed by the whole open source bullshit many years ago. Fuck Linux.

It's not cool enough for me. Java is shit because people who write Java write shit code, the same goes with C++. Also, there's nothing special with those two languages, they're both just the de facto standard when it comes to industry. But that's just IT, and fuck IT. If you want to join the cool kids on the block, learn Python, Scheme or even some fully functional programming language (and of course C, the razor of programming languages). Frankly, Python is the shit.
