You're not helping my paranoia

Got nothing better to do while I wait for my group to send project data, so here goes:
Currently working on a water purification device which works like a french press with a earthen filter for the plunger.

Testing a fabric that you can weld (steel or copper, depending on product) with, in any environment, and is completely safe.

Have a fuckload of other ideas/inventions, just came up with one today because of the hurricane about to buttfuck my county. I wish the patent process was as easy as the problem definition/solution determination process. I swear, I have over 250 ideas, many already tested, but fuck patent attorneys are expensive.

If that's true, no scientist in history should ever have done any experiments, since they couldn't predict everything that would happen.

Then again, we could look at the discoverer of nitroglycerin as an example that you are correct...

Lol sorry, forgot you're in England. Here, it's not necessarily more lax, but there is much more space, so it's hard to get caught.

You should start a new thread asking for what chemical experiments you should carry out (with rules lined out). Also, I think you could find alot of chemistry stuff in some book collection called Rhizome, need to check

Heretic! Explosives are very interesting!
Actually, yeah, they can get boring after awhile. That's why you have to do something interesting with it.
Like the time I made a minefield with miniature charges to keep my neighbor's vicious dogs away. Not enough to kill or maim, but plenty to scare the shit out of them.

sci bump, want planned experiments

>> No.1140660 [View]

Now that I think about it, you wouldn't happen to have a gieger counter, would you? Probably nothing wrong with the equipment, but best be safe with what you can't identify (though I doubt they did anything with radioactive materials).

THEN BURN IT ALL DOWN! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Nah, that's cool. Glad you were able to salvage so much good equipment. Looking to future threads of your experiments

HORNET! You never explored the other buildings!

Yeah, if only we had sites like in the former Soviet Union.
I've seen pics of abandoned tanks, planes even whole cities. Hell, there are pics of an abandoned lab where they worked on brains, and one huge lab that detected neutrinos.

I think englishrussia.com has most of them, for anyone interested.

Yeah, there's a small crane at the waterpark now, figure they are going to rip it apart soon, not too much interesting there.

By main room, I meant the huge warehouse you took a shot of, on the first floor, where they probably produced what it was they produced. Pan pics of labs too would be awesome.

Ah, if only we could see the other buildings, bet they used them for storage, maybe find more good stuff there.

And don't worry about the sagers and those saying it's illegal. Even if it was, they're reports mean nothing.

Finally, some good news. My weekend sucked, glad you made something out of it, even with rain.

The fact the scale works alone gives proof of the epicness of the raid on the lab, hope you didn't encounter any snorks or bloodsuckers, scary shit.

What I'd say would be a good idea is, if you can or know how, to take panoramic shots of the compound, both the labs and the main room. People here will probably appreciate the shots, and be able to point stuff out. Many cameras now have features to help with that, though your camera, from what I can tell, might not, due to quality reasons.

Did you ever check out the other buildings you mentioned?

Are you really surprised it would suck (both as a story and fucking up the science)?

That's it, tomorrow, I'm going back to the abandoned water park in my area, and an abandoned bar/beauty salon/ballroom. Don't expect to ever find anything this awesome, but fuck it, I CAN DREAM.

I have no idea, but what is that in the top left of the pic?

>>1102200
I'd say avoid eating canned beans you found there Hornet ;P

>>1102303
Eh, cleaning would be way to laborious

So yeah, I'd say fuck all, doesn't matter too much why they left the stuff, if it was too dangerous, the entire place would be cordoned off and cleaned, as no business would take the risk of civilians getting injured on their property.

Oh yeah, I think some website has the complete history of /sci/, archived or not, I'll post it when I find it so anon can find parts 1-3

Hornet, next, can you take a clear pic of what I circled? Might help clarify its use (and market price hehe) more.

Finally, take a push broom. Be nice to not walk on glass I presume.

Hornet, your idea to check if the flasks are calibrated correctly will only work if the scale itself is also calibrated correctly, not to mention other factors such as droplets. Good idea though, especially if the scale is functional.

Also, currently playing STALKER: SOC, so I may be on and off.
Only good place to explore here is the abandoned Super Splash, and the best thing I found there was my ability to get to second base before my girlfriend gets to creeped out by the place...

Good luck getting everything, especially the scale!
