Some states have programs where for as few as 60 credits in a science or math program, and a background check they will sign you up for that. Search your state's local laws for more information.

Test pilot, so having a degree, then commissioning into the air force, then a degree in a science or engineering field, (since you would have to be Major, and being a test pilot is literally being the best of the best), passing all the physical and mental examinations, and even then you have to pass the basic spaceship training (and even with that we have too many astronauts, just because with test pilots alone we have a fairly large corp of them with multiple degrees to make O4 and greater

spoilers: a large majority of research is done by the military, through active testing and design, (space technology is pretty much a side effect of the military realizing that space is useful), and the carriers are pretty much replacements, so complaining about them is dumb and counter-productive.

military radars malfunction because of eco friendly power vanes, a radar malfunction is not proof of aliens, otherwise every time OPSEC happened I'd be fucked.

MechE(Nuclear Engineer specialization) here, the military-industrial complex is just here to give you money and actually do real practical work. Hurry up and make a better reactor before I can.

Yeah, more or less you will be mad, angry, and hating on life, but you can do it if you can hack the physics Make sure to start working out now, they want you fit, CNO's orders and everything.

The Navy is going to make you do Cal II work and you need at least a 3.0 to be in the nuke program as an officer, also get ready to run your mile and a half in what is it 11 minuets for 20-23 I forgot. Physics will be a bitch since its lots of atomic stuff. IF you are in a science/engineering and have the grades and fits I'll see you out in the Fleet though!

I am a state actor, so I'll have to let tips and alert people to HIDE THEIR SHIT, or worse case prepare for using that. I might alter your history though, if the war is prevented/our efforts are successful. We will find out in a year or so!

If we are able to.. acquire some low level cruise missiles or ideally nuclear weapons, would a preemptive nuclear strike destroy these bases or would it CHANGE TIME BEYOND COMPARE.

Futurebro, damnit help someone out, I'll most likely be ending this war, tell me how I can stop it sooner, you told me in the last thread to get ready, and I did! I need more time to plan and confirm the intervention!

I focus more on the point of view that people don't realize what they are consenting too. As both someone who has done research for the civilian fields (and is now going to be the military fields), people honestly don't know what they mean when they sign yes on the forms, or if they just go to say do their blood work every year or so.

I'm shocked that you can't talk biotech ethics in here, or discuss research and the logical implications of some modern discoveries, /sci/!

Hey /sci/ I just was doing some research and I recently found the book The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, and I wanted to ask you all your opinions on human tissue and consent. Now in the 1950s this of course was "hey, they are poor (negroes) so they owe us" but as our understanding of cell ethics and the huge biotechnology industry has shown, there are clearly issues within the tissue industry as of now. So, shall we have a general discussion on cell use ethics?

Captcha: NGOs rewesem

odd, what do NGOs have to do with biotechnology ethics

Picture related its some HeLa cells

Jetpacks aren't impossible, just.. well the way to get around the energy storage issues are quite hard! (Jetpacks are chemical based, unless someone finally made a turbofan based one that isn't tethered like those test units that are on the "youtube"

A construction machine that could have more precision would be useful, and if we all live to be 40 we will be seeing power armors in construction since it looks like the first basic test models are doing well.

The human body works well at its scale, but it suffers from.. well issues. If you want a large walking design it would be best to attempt to build a dinosaur, and notice what they have that humans do not? Gigantic tails. You would have to pretty much either make METAL GEAR?! if you wanted to and had unlimited funding (and still, it would be cheapest to plug it in, Evangelion style.)
