Sure, bro. See, when Vegeta first impregnated Bulma he was a weak no super-saiyan having dude. Then Trunks went back in time, changed the timeline, and then Vegeta went and impregnated Bulma after he had achieved Super-Saiyan transformation which means his DNA got mutated from all the pushups he did.
So that super-saiyan transformation was passed on down to Trunks and thus Trunks was a super saiyan way way way earlier due to this.

This applies directly to your example, OP. The show was made by Japanese people who are all very smart (they make the PS3 and Nintendo) so it has to be true.

I feel you. Those people are the worst...they seem more concerned with how many syllables they can pack into a sentence rather than actually conveying any meaning or thought.
>>4345008
Simple, big words with sciencey sounds are SCIENCE. star-trek said so.

generally people will tend to judge others by the syllable density in the sentences they say or write.
The awesome thing is that you can tell when one of these people don't know what they're talking about when you "argue" with them using simpler language. When you are saying the exact same thing they are and they are trying to say "No no no, you don't get it! (incoherent vocabulary word of the day jarble here)." That's how you know they learned vocabulary words instead of the actual concepts, theories, or such.

Well it is odd...and I guess until we meet another species with our same level of intelligence and abilities to communicate we won't be able to find out if developing a religion is a natural course of higher intelligent evolution or if we are just one-offs and oddities.

Perhaps you are more correct....although I find it odd that curiosity wouldn't be promoted in a tool making species. In fact..it only seems that people get really upset when others become curious about them...people don't like to be probed it seems.

But...I don't know...the backlash against curiosity and knowledge seeking seems a function of more just trying to keep a group in power. It does a leader no good to have people question their decisions..at least from the view of the leader..and it would do no good to have your down-trodden people realize that they're being fucked.

How many gods in all religions have been very encouraging about humans gaining or pursuing knowledge?

It seems like most of them would like to keep it away. In that case...we may have to rethink that perhaps the gods were some sort of entities intent on doing something to our young little species. I say this because you generally don't want your slaves to know what you know...or have access to what you have access to.

It would seem that if man were truly responsible for making its own gods..they would be there to promote our curious natures.

a function f is given along with a local linear approximation L to f at a point P. Determine point P

f(x,y,z) = xy + z^2; L(x,y,z) = y + 2z -1

How the hell do I find point P?

I recently had a 3 hour long conversation with a woman who was part of some giant pro-life rally thing (complete with all kinds of poster boards..pic is just a small sample of what they had set up) and I basically just trollololol and told her as much that I was just wasting time until next class...either way a few things became apparent.

They can not argue their stance on an objective point of view, they have to argue subjectively.

With that said..I missed an opportunity..there were women around with signs saying "I had an abortion, ask me about it" which when you think of it, these women had the freedom of this choice..made this choice..have come to regret it and so they campaign to get this choice taken away....essentially it's a sort of tyrannical response...they feel bad so they want to restrict freedoms..

I missed the chance to bring that point up because it didn't come to me until I left..damnit. :\

I forgot about that thing, I heard it's supposed to be some sort of astrological device and perhaps was used for navigation. I know you guys like to joke with that "Ancient Aliens" guy but I think those people don't give humans enough credit..honestly I think it's just a function of population that we don't get to see the tech we would generally think they shouldn't have.

Have a picture of some black-plague science..or tech..science leads to tech anyway.

Greetings /sci/! you are some of the more informed people on this board and grasp a rather large demographic. I need to do "needs analysis" for a senior design project and I need to get public opinion as part of that. With that said, if anybody is interested please go to this link: http://www.screator.net/showform.php?f=639646331 and if it asks for a code, enter in JMARK in all caps like that. I'll stick around the thread to answer your questions (please only tick one answer per question) you might have on the survey.

It's only 8 questions long, all multiple choice, done really fast.

In return, a picture that says science on it.

Thank you for your time.
