One more thing I'd like to point out is that under a society modeled after TVP, corrupt people will have no opportunity for corrupting the system. How would YOU corrupt such a system if you were living in an environment? Which political office would you run for? Which corporation would you try to run? Which army would you try to take control of? All of these questions are in fact moot (lol). And then, we must consider why a person would want to destroy society in the first place.

In this system, the tyranny of the few could never topple the good of the many.

How on Earth did you manage to come up with that rebuttal?

Whether or not you believe TVP has a chance of working is irrelevant, as far as I'm concerned. The important thing is that you learn to check your assumptions. Primarily, the ones which tell you that the status quo is good, the government is on your side, and that politicians/lawyers/businessmen aren't completely retarded pricks who haven't a clue how science works.

Good night /sci/, I'll leave you with that.

The moon is at a certain angle with respect to the Earth's equator. Therefore, for some people in the world, the moon can stay visible for a period longer than 24 yrs. The fact that the moon disappears and the earth rotates are two events which aren't mutually inclusive.

ugh, idiot. No one is saying that math isn't an exact process. My argument was that its elegance comes from the paradox by which complexity becomes simplistic.

I was trying to help you appreciate some of my findings regarding natural law and mathematics.

The fact that you hide behind your degrees tells me you're hiding behind personal experience and viewing the world around you through a biased and subjective lense. Learn to decode and question your assumptions.

I'm out of here.

You're making assumptions. I was only pointing out that you had misused the word.

Math is obviously an exact process. My argument is that the underlying processes are elegant.

Forget it, though. Some minds just don't have the capability of accepting such concepts.

Also you don't need to samefag in order to make your points clear.

The true beauty of mathematics comes from its simplicity and elegance. The exactness you describe is merely an illusion.

All problems have an elegant solution; all solutions have an elegant expression.

Whatever; you're just nitpicking. The same ratio can be expressed in some terms of opp/hyp.
since cosine and sine are complementary.

Learn to see the big picture; you'll see more that way.

Every angle in a triangle is proportional to the ratios between the opposite side of a triangle and some other side.

These different ratios interact, simplify, and integrate with each other in various different, complex, yet simple ways.

Thus is the nature, of nature.

The scientific method in its own right is merely a tool which humans use to deduce the natural laws of nature. The application of the scientific method usually results from a certain level of curiosity or insatiable romanticism shared by scientists.

The tool and the purpose for using it are two different things. Once you understand the semantics behind your argument it becomes easier to discuss.

We like finding solutions to problems, and science kicks ass.

If you can't solve the puzzle, then you're a loser.

etc, etc

So what's your point?

OP even though you're trolling, I'd like to point out that transitional fossils do exist. You can walk into any good museum in the world and look at different fossils ranging from Homo Erectus to Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Same thing for countless other organisms.

Evolution is a natural law of nature, similar to entropy. If you don't believe in evolution after considering all the available information, then you're simply an idiot.
