Wasn't talking about size scale... I thought Ice 9 was a scale for freezing water at different velocity/speed and what not...

But just for curiosity's sake, what's the book? Felt familiar after you said it's from one...

Just read your whole comment... what is that perspective? Ice 9? Can you provide the scale so that I could understand?

So can the sea creatures... what I meant is: What if he actually stayed there, not trying to dodge. Floor freezing around him and he just stays put to figure if it would or not...

When I first asked this a couple days ago I could only ask myself "what if one of the researchers was touching the path of the brinicle? Would it be enough to freeze their feet to a point of no return? (Or even his whole body)"

50x50 =2500
then 4x5x20 = 400
Subtract the first with the later.

Couldn't get your first one to work though.

I won't say it's impossible, because I don't really know or read if anyone tried doing that... but simple things come first, so... what's your age?

Lets assume I wanted to do that. Excluding, like, first 3 years of age, where sleep schedules are the shit (babies sleep like crazy and we know it.), lets assume that for the rest of my life (20 years more) i've slept 8 hours a day.

Assume now you are me and think that you are trying to beat 20 years sleeping 8 hours per day because of your daily needs of rest, recomposure and what not. You expect to be able to reduce to 8 every 2 days in six months? Old people (talking like 70s or more years old) sleep like 3~5 hours a day (mostly, some exceptions of course) because they have less activities to do all day... now again, you are planing on getting your schedule to 8 hours every 2 days, so you can work more. Do you expect to keep your body drugged until you die of overdose or something?

THAT aside...

Okay, I need some small help...
Can you guys provide me with documents/articles about Molten Salt Reactors?
Need to do an essay on them...

Yeah, I'm dealing with it... but it doesn't stop me from thiking it's pointless. I mean, there should be a point to when evolution simply isn't needed anymore. I would find immortality to be one of them. Then again... evolution is a bitch.

Use it wisely.

Jesus Christ, are you me?
I came back, read his answer, was about to post the exact same thing with the "In dubio pro reo" and you did it masterfully in my place.

My point would have been exactly the same as that guy. It's not that I don't assume they might "be us". It's just that I act in the consequence of doubt. If they are, I'll find out when we find them. Until then, they are not.

Were you a criminal hiding from the FBI and I showed up to your doorstep in a suit and said "I'm from the FBI, can I ask you a few questions?" showing no badge, would you first logically ask me for a badge or would you freak out and pull a knife or some shit a hiding convict would do?
People read/hear what they want. I never implied that.

But: The species has already achieved immortality. The only gain from evolution that species can still have is learn to adapt for other enviroment, one with no predators for itself so that it's immortality come really true. Although evolution is "unconscious", it's pointless for it to keep happening if there is no change whatsoever however much you evolve alongside your predator. It's a predator for a reason, it learns how to get you. Faster than how you would learn to avoid it.

I believe it would go a little more Mass Effectesque... (aside from humans saving the universe and shit, or maybe not we will never know...) Every fucking race would hate us and we would probably be neutral to hater towards them. The human nature is to butt-in stuff. We would try to meddle in their affairs one way or another until a motherfucking war would blow out.

Yes, I know that. But it's predators are evolving as well, getting better at hunting it with every passing (fill with according time here).
So, seriously, if you evolved to the point where you are already confy in your enviroment, is immortal and know you can't outrun evolution on your predators, what's the point of evolving anymore?

>> No.3647386 [View]

>>3647363
Asked myself the same. A biologically immortal being has no need for evolution. It's already placed in it's most confortable enviroment (and if removed to try adaptation might lose it's unique characteristic) and the only thing killing it are predators.

How come that shit wasn't extinct yet?

Unstoppable Force would bounce of the surface of Immovable Object and go back (or some other direction if it wasn't perfectly lined with it) and keep going.

Also, Newton is the deadliest son of a bitch in space.
