I'm not sure this is theoretically possible, but let's throw a wrench into that.

Say both A and B were of similar mass, but dissimilar structure and molecular makeup. Lets also assume they are inert toward each other and the container. As a further annoyance, say they are of similar viscosity and are neither phobic nor have a philia towards each other.

This kind of begs a different question as well.

Assume there is no gravity. Would either substance coalesce into any sort of shape or would entropy simply cause them to be randomly scattered?
Assume both substances are inert towards each other. How about now?

Assume there is incredible pressure inside the container. Any difference?

Now assume the container is a perfect sphere inside of an environment with no gravity, but the container is spinning very rapidly.

I'm honestly curious about these situations. Any thoughts?

Do yourself a favor. Instead of battery powerplants, you can make one of your own. Get a jar, to pieces of wire, and a motor.

Put one wire in a coil on the bottom, and one at the top, connect those wires to your motor. Next add in common household ammonia and mix with bleach, the reaction from these two chemicals create a somewhat strong magnetic field and when they hit the wires, they'll convert that to electricity to run the motor. Tada! Cheap and efficient mini-powerplant.

Makes a great room deodorizer too.

Take several thousands of miles of cable
Go from one end of the Atlantic or the pacific oceans
loop it around a series of ultra-high torque pulleys
pull the other end back to where you started, tie/weld/connect the ends
put a watertight capsule that can house around 100-200 people or several thousand cubic meters of cargo onto both ends of the cable
Ta-da! transatlantic ski-lifts, no need for bridges or tunnels with very little risk should something go wrong, and no need for on-board propulsion

Reverse Osmosis.

/thread

Unless that is that you'd like to use the flouride that you've harvested for something else. If you just want it gone, just have a Reverse Osmosis filter.

But the wire is all copper.

And what does copper conduct...?

there are a few things you should be aware of and take into account:

The Hamstation needs to be airtight and water tight. At altitudes you're talking about, moisture from clouds could seep inside and short the heating pads if there is a fray or something. Airtight because of a lack of oxygen that far up.
With that said, it needs its own air supply. It can't just slowly release air into the system because it wouldn't remove the CO2 and if it's airtight, would cause large amounts of pressure causing the Hamstation to rupture. Should this happen, there is a very real chance of having the Benz inflicted on your hamsters, killing them from bubbles in their blood, or lack of oxygen once the Hamstation ruptures.

The tether providing power to the Hamstation has weight, and with the tether also having wires to power it, would be an exponential increase in weight the longer the tether is, increasing the amount of balloons you'd need to achieve maximum height.

Lastly, if you're attempting to do this at very high altitudes (50,000ft+), be aware of the fact that solar flares can affect the electronics in the Hamstation causing power surges which may overload both the heating pad, and the battery on the ground.

Also, god help you if a lightning storm is nearby. You'll have one-up'd Ben Franklin on the lightning rod eperiment.

I've heard a tiny bit on the subject, but I'd like to ask you guys about the plausibility about this article.

Does DCA actually reactivate apoptosis in compromised cells?
Is the reactivation of apoptosis limited to functional cancer cells, or cancer cells that are just there, living, and doing nothing?
How does DCA react to healthy cells?
Does DCA have any effect on other parts of the cellular structure?

If you're interested in how the universe may "end" or whatever you may think may happen, I'd highly suggest watching Through the Wormhole: Beyond the Darkness to get a vague idea of what's happening. It's a very dumbed down documentary, but I think it'd be at the very least interesting to take a look at.

Here's the link if you want to watch it.

There's a puffer fish that makes a poison that can cause a "death-like" state in humans. That is to say that any doctor who comes up to said "corpse" will more than likely feel no heartbeat due to dramatically reduced heartrate and blood pressure. It is also a paralytic which will leave the body as lifeless as...well, a dead guy. Due to the paralysis, the bodies oxygen consumption is also dramatically reduced, allowing the person to live for 24 hours without taking a single breath. However, since the poison does not cross the Blood-Brain barrier, all of the neurological processes of the brain are unaffected. There have been people who have said that they've been completely conscious and aware of everything that was happening around them and to them while under the affects of this poison.

Not that it is true hibernation, but that is probably the next best thing. You can probably find all this on google or wikipedia or some shit, but I'm too damned lazy to look it up for you.

Yeah no kidding. Sending this message on bills and coins? What the hell is this? I couldn't care one way or the other about "spreading the word" because it's shit no one cares about. Your average joe isn't going to care about some stupid riddle they find on a bill or whatever. Go do your own dirty work as far as I am concerned. Unless you have any more riddles to solve, I think I'll just sit back and ride the tubes a bit more.

The picture has the date 5/19/13.

The organization also has the name of OAB eta.

Considering that last part, does that date coincide with an important event within the organization?

What this guy said.

Also, this all seems to be a bit pretentious to actually be profitable. But if you really want to get into it, just google "binary translator" then type in exactly what is on this image. From there, try and solve the puzzle, if there is one. I, for one, can be arsed to go out and find this shit out, but if you have the patience to type all of those zeros and ones, translate it here and we'll see what can be done.

Also, you MUST be precise in transcribing it. One zero that should have been a one or vise versa can fuck up the translation altogether. If you miss a number completely, then the entire code will be off and you'll have fucked yourself over.

You must be INCREDIBLY precise with this. Hence me not really giving two shits about it.

You're basically forcing semen to go into your bladder instead of out the tip of your dick.

I don't know about you, but that is pretty damn disgusting that you'd jizz into your bladder. Not only that, but it's a sure-fire way to give yourself urinary tract infections.

As far as many cosmologists are conerned, there is literally *nothing* outside the "universe." It's expanding into empty space. I personally don't know and don't give a fuck.
