Personally I drew the line at T10. The waitlists didn't work out but I don't think I would have been able to stomach 210K of debt just for a 30% chance at making it.

There is a reason I am going to a T30. I wouldn't be going if I was paying sticker.

Yes, but I can't say it is the supplements. I read Kurzweil's more recent health book about living to see the Singularity, and it inspired me to supplement, but also exercise and eat right. I feel great, but the vast majority of that has to be the diet and exercise.

Just think about this for a second.. If you can't do something as simple as presenting any interesting information about yourself in just 500 words, how are you going to be able to handle your coursework or job interviews?

In addition to great grades and standardized test scores, schools wants students that they feel will contribute to the academic environment on campus through classroom participation, student orgs, etc. They also want students that are more likely to succeed in the job market and reflect well on the school once they leave. Superior numbers are a necessary but not sufficient condition to admission at top schools.

>Is a man not entitled to the fruits of his labor
Yes, he is. But consider this: Other things equal, those that actually did community service, excelled in their extra-curriculars, and had to overcome hardships, all worked harder than those that didn't.

It's okay, undergrad probably isn't the end of your academic career. Keep all this in mind for transfer or grad school apps.

Yes. On that note, why not try your thread on /r9k/ OP? You might get some sympathy from them.
