even if you only do one, you're helping.
and, if you can't be bothered look at http://www.falstad.com/gravity.html, one of the reasons I'm attempting this.

and I agree completely. However, as this is intended to just be interesting (as opposed to completely accurate) I still believe the results will be fit for purpose.

Links:

current results are in a table at "http://goo.gl/m1Qg"..

The full questions (and solutions) are available at "http://goo.gl/GfGb".. Using these is quicker if you don't have time to personally respond to questions, but it's easier to just copy the questions on the form and manually type responses if you don't have a dual monitor setup

the actual survey page (ie, data input) is at "http://goo.gl/wFnA".. If any of the questions aren't answered input the ones that are, and we can adjust for this later.

thanks again!

Hello again

A few weeks ago I posted here suggesting we survey the internet to find out what the public knew scientifically speaking. We decided on questions, made a form/spreadsheet for data input, and generated about 20 responses. Then we all sort-of forgot about it, and didn't do anything.

In the interests of SCIENCE I'm asking you to help me survey as many people as you can, the aims being to 1) gauge public understanding of science, and 2) educate the public on matters they don't understand (especially in cases where they want to know). The details we are logging are age, gender, sexuality, nationality and formal qualifications in science related subjects.

If you have any queries/criticisms post them in this thread and I'll try to answer as accurately as possible.

it has 4 including one part that do not ever post, 200%. However, when observed the superpositionary quality of /sci/'s posters is anhilated and they all either agree or disagree with him

WOMEN: your minds cannot handle such complex concepts as ecconomics or science. Do the right thing and know your place!

More research needs to be done on this, in my opinion. It could be something to do with innability, it could be to do with stereotypes, it could be n number of reasons in combination or on their own.

you do know trolling is against the rules on /sci/?

you would just get two magnets, both with north and south poles, because when the material making the entire EM field was broken in two the field it created would change to being made around the two magnets individually. If that makes sense.

lolololo

1)what do you base your "low intelligence" idea on?
2) if there's life on ~50% of planets, does this mean there's life on 4 planets in the solar system. Lolno
