>what are the chances it'll come back?
Pretty high, unfortunately. Ovarian cancer has a high recurrence rate.
>what are the chances it can be passed on to kids?
Depends on how big the genetic factor in her cancer type is. You'll have to ask you oncologist.
>Why is cancer so hard to totally cure?
Cancer is your body's cells going rogue. As long as there are growing cells in your body, you can get cancer.

Here's one, and I'm sure you can find lots more. The very fact that society exists is proof that humans are eusocial, and it's pretty common knowledge that individuals who are isolated often suffer psychological damage.

Oh, definitely. But most people aren't cut out to be monks, and a society made totally of monks would be a disaster.

Plus, a lot of monks are pretty crazy.

how would you isolate a living human body well enough to observe subatomic particles?

Humans are a highly eusocial species. It's well known that social isolation causes serious psychological damage to people - it's even classified as torture by the EU. Regardless of whether or not it's efficient from an objective standpoint, the vast majority of humans need socialization to function.

Maybe the photosynthetic machinery becomes saturated quickly and millisecond exposure allows it to function at full capacity without becoming oversaturated?

>How did life start
Complex self-replicating organic molecules formed in well-protected, high-energy environments. Some molecules self-replicated faster and more accurately than others and they ended up becoming the precursors for microbial life after they became associated with phospholipid bilayers, which allowed them to segregate different types of reactions.
>>6889961
Terrestrial life requires water for the most part, but extraterrestrial life might not.

Like >>6890139 and >>6889975 say, organic molecules like amino acids are actually quite easy to make abiotically, as are phospholipid bilayers. We don't know exactly how abiogenesis happened, but we have a pretty good idea of the steps required.

>they even add gasoline when they make cocaine
That's called a phase extraction, and the same process is used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Gasoline is mostly VOCs and they evaporate off and leave the cocaine behind.

we're getting pretty close, despite the fact that a good chunk of the civilized world (its women included) still thinks women can't be anything but emotionally unstable baby machines. It'll happen eventually!
