Universe begins

Intelligent life forms

Intelligent life gains an understanding of the universe

Intelligent life creates it's own universe.

Same underagefag as yesterday. I've got a couple of questions:

1. I need to prove that two tangents to a circle which meet are equal. I solved this by proving that the triangles are congruent with a common side, a right angle (tg) and radiuses. Is the proof correct ?

2. How the hell would I go about proving that if the diameter of a circle is perpedicular to a chord then the diameter bisects the chord and arc?

Thanks.

Alright, I'm not the smartest guy in the world. Infact I'm a retard when it comes to algebra. But I take every chance I get to pnder things and try to educate myself on whatever subject I feel the need to learn about at the time.

I read this comic a while ago and thought to myself "What would I do if I was in this situation, with infinite time?". I guess I would spend most of my time trying to educate myself on things I can't grasp right now (Example algebra) and making my ideas a reality with whatever materials I could find.

But then I realised, it wouldn't matter what I learned or what I built. No one would ever know about it or see it but me.

Let's just forget that last part. What would YOU do with infinite time?

Being god of an universe is quite easy, pic related. You just need a computer.
Being god of your own universe on the other hand is a more complex task. You'd first need the singularity to happen, then live long enough and become the most advanced of all living things then you just hav-

Quite possibly yes pic related.

A devoloping baby has one human brain cell. Is it concious? The cell devides and there are two human brain cells. Is it conscious? Three cells. Is it concious? How many invidividual human brain cells are required before a human is conscious?

A human brain is comprised of electrical impulses in a particular media. If we perfectly recorded these impulses for the thought "banana" and duplicated them again in the same brain, would it be a simulation of the thought "banana", or a conscious thought "banana"? What if the simulation was identical, but in a different media, perhaps metallic? What if it was an equivalent representation in rocks?

Is it possible to make a computer with infinite rocks, open area and time?
