Am I the only one here that hates people who major in CS just so they can create shitty video games? I, for one, plan on applying CS to natural sciences while these neckbeard faggots show up only to waste their professor's time and and their parent's money trying to enter an over-saturated field that they will not succeed in while they spend the rest of their life in their parents basement creating shit that no one cares about.

Don't worry about paying for Grad School. It's a 'job'. No scientists or engineer pays for grad school, they get paid by the university to do research. Remember when I said you're a professor's bitch? That's because they're your boss and they're paying you to be their bitch. The pay isn't great, but it's enough to get by.

Major in any science or engineering field and you'll be technologically involved.

You might consider paying for school by picking up a code-monkey job or being a mechanic or technician. (Remember, Computer Scientists are Mathematicians, not code monkeys. Don't get into CompSci and expect it to be all programming and memorization.)

>CS majors waste money trying to prove P!=NP which we already know and said proof will have no impact on anything in the real world
>CE majors design, build, and program computers for use in the real world

If you like circle jerks and lying to yourself that you are a mathematician then become a CS major

>"CompSci" == "Applied Mathematician"

Will someone please start teaching these retards that their CS discrete math course is nothing like the level mathematics Mathematician know. Applied Mathematician are math major. Fuck, every physicist and most engineering disciplines know and use way more mathematics than a CS majors.

any chance one of you /sci/entists could give me a simple non-bullshit explanation of the EPR paradox? Wikipedia really sucks at some things.

I want to use genetic algorithms and neural networks to design the ultimate strategy game AI capable of adapting to generic rules. Do you think it's possible, /sci/? Know about any efforts like this? Any experts on GA or machine learning here?

Video game design - horrible work hours and an enormous amount of effort required for shit pay. Classes will be filled with idiots who play video games who assume since they play video games, that they're also good at making them.

Don't know about Aerospace engineer
