Anons, I'm a relentlessly ambitious individual, and have autistic levels of focus and an ego to boot. I'm unsatisfied with my station in life, and want to become greater.

I want to figure out the secret to immortality, and give myself superpowers like spider webbing or stopping time. I also want to figure out gene editing so I can make myself look even more like a God than i am now.

I'll be starting my science journey with mathematics, but do you guys think it's possible for one viciously focused man to accomplish such a thing? If he is one of the smartest and most special people to ever live?

We are already way, way, waaaaaaaaaaay ahead of you.
But why not, feast on the scraps of Olympus~
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turritopsis_dohrnii

Use two well known platforms for rejuvenation and memory transference through metamorphosis.

Respectively The Immortal Jellyfish: https://youtu.be/OgQAVlh6ewI
For rejuvenation.

And any common moth or butterfly:
https://youtu.be/uK_iZZ4Bx2o
For memory transference during a metamorphosis.

Both these creatures have abilities you require, both create pods for their transformation.

Withdraw the jellyfishes ability to restore the human body, its genetic code etc, and ask a powerful artificial intelligence to write an ad-hoc parallel to human functions (or do it yourself over a couple of decades if you're autistic enough).
Do the same for the moth/butterfly but specify you only want the memory transfer ability, and combine it with the rejuvenation ability inside an encapsulated biological reaction.
(a literal human cocoon)
Remember to specify the exact age you want the AI to write the specifications to.

Get your hands on a fancy bio-printer and CRISPr editing laboratory, then create what the AI told you to make from the schematics.

Enter the chamber and then get (most likely painfully) reconstituted to whatever age you set the parameters to, with your memories intact.

Make sure you keep an eye on maximum memory capacity and add in digital cyborg or biological solution to your body if you intend to not forget anything in your retardedly long existence.
This can range from making the brain slightly bigger after a few transformations, storing memory in a digital "brain" inside or outside your body, or fucking "magic". (idk)

If you did all that you will now be able to transform and rejuvenate into pretty much anything since the metamorphosis process can be hijacked further to include any body form.

Oh yeah.

And you can potentially live until the proverbial stars burn out.

Hydras were not used because the method they use to stay alive is only viable in water, whereas rejuvenation can be hybridized for a submerged "stage".
Crocodiles and lobster too were ignored despite their potential immortality because they literally get too big to feed themselves and die.
Heheheheheheh.
Never forget who told you so, sonny.

Having an ego and having ambition and wanting things are very very very different from having the ability to acquire them.

Relentlessly ambitious narcissists die unsatisfied with life by the way, no matter where they end up. Dissatisfaction is sort of something people with such personalities NEVER stop feeling. They are at heart a tryhard, and even if they become as successful as chad, they will never be chad, because chad just became successful without trying and doesn't really care about that kind of stuff.

>Relentlessly ambitious narcissists die unsatisfied with life by the way, no matter where they end up. Dissatisfaction is sort of something people with such personalities NEVER stop feeling
That's why I'm trying to escape mortality and claim my rightful spot as god. I'm not a very emotional person anyway, and I meditate regularly to keep my sentiments in check, plus if I die anyway I can just curse the world on my deathbed and wish ill on everything left behind.
>They are at heart a tryhard, and even if they become as successful as chad, they will never be chad, because chad just became successful without trying and doesn't really care about that kind of stuff
I only wasn't chad because of external factors, plus even chad can't help feeling down if I use all my power to bully and abuse him.

I'm studying computer science and I'm looking to go in depth with it, I believe even brainlets can learn if they try hard, like how cholo spics in that one high school learned calculus, and I will push myself to the limit over the years.

Here's some free knowledge to aid in your journey:
Your cells have two sources of energy. One is ATP, which you probably know, but the other is called NAD.
When you are a kid, you have tons of NAD, but as you become an adult, NAD levels drop. NAD keeps dwindling as you age.
Consider taking NAD precursors to artificially boost your body's NAD production. Higher NAD levels are very good for the brain and for slowing aging.
The simplest and cheapest way to get started would be common Niacin supplements. You could find these at most pharmacies. The trouble with plain Niacin is that it isn't the most efficient as a precursor (quite a few steps back from NAD), it can cause a brief "Niacin flush" after you take it (your skin flushes red - feels like a mild sunburn), and it might throw other nutrients in your body out of whack. Later-stage precursors like NMN are better, but still be sure not to get demethylated. You can find plenty about this stuff online. These are more expensive though, and make sure you are paying for stuff with high purity (never take some kind of multi-supplement crap).
I occasionally take Niacin when I need a burst of mental/physical energy. And holy crap, it feels great!

We advise against spicing your dna with a spider’s (the spinneret glands function less like Spidey’s shooty and swingy strings and more like that sticky mess you accidentally get in your britches), but there is a secret to gene editing we would like to share that will grant you membership among the rulers of the galaxy:

Take a mRNA vaccine IV (not IM) for fastest results.
Wait for us to contact you beneath one of our communication towers (preferably one of the big ones that look like giant metal trees).

>the immortal jellyfish

Every time somebody finds this thing they act like they've discovered immortality. Putting aside the obvious fact that it's a jellyfish and therefore of significantly less complexity than a human being, the jellyfish is still vulnerable to diseases and getting eaten by predators.
As humans, we're already capable of producing cells that are immortal which ignore apoptosis. We call them cancers.

You want to talk about living longer with shit we understand right now, look at fasting. I'm guessing your diet and exercise routine is dogshit as well so fix that.

>>14736654
It's vitamin B3, you'll be fine. Though with current technology NAD via intravenous injections (it's like a clinic you sit in and they feed it into you over a period of time) are more effective but cost more, you've got to keep going to them and they're still in the realm of being considered kind of woo. Do these if you have lots of spare money.
And yes Pax was a fucking idiot.

>> No.14737282

>>14736887
>vulnerable to diseases and getting eaten by predators
Immortality is not invincibility, but as far as abilities go, "rejuvenation" is a pretty overpowered ability. The cells maintain structure, and damage and disease is purged every time it does so. If a human had such an ability, he would probably be able to use it fine most every day, until of course, he gets hit by a bus. Then again, everyone is already vulnerable to that.

My first venture would likely be into making some sort of powerful machine learning software to help consolidate all the relevant info I can and make my job easier, then sort through and experiment until I find solutions, ethical or not. the problem with you is that you're not "serious" about this:you are not devoted about living past 100,you're not fanatical about it, you havent given your Self up to this task.
you will say "thats too hard, too expensive, takes too much time". HA!
You must be willing to push your flesh and soul if you want to live 300 years old

>> No.14738168

You bring up a good point. People aren't serious enough about living forever. If they look at the work and time they have to put in, they'll determine it's too much effort. Is death really that bad of a thing if no one wants to bother curing it? Living a good life is more valuable than living forever, and to devote yourself to immortality eats up too many hours of the day to allow you to enjoy your own existance.

i've been thinking about this for a while now. wouldn't the better and easier solution be to keep yourself in some sort of stasis (cryogenic freezing maybe) for the next 200 years until immortality will be much more feasible? of course it won't exactly be simple to preserve your body for that long but i'm sure it's far easier than achieving immortality

I can fit in just fine, wanting power is such a normal thing that calling me autistic is akin to saying all normies are autistic too. Your solipsism shows in not understanding the many games of chance which can hinder a man, and the maturity cycle some must ride for self actualization. Plus, can you imagine if I pulled it off? Top meme material, humor and absurdism are the ultimate truth.
>>14738096
You got the part about me being a pussy right, I admit to being a coward, and that's good because cowards are smart.

Many here are against, but that only indicates I must push further. I'll confess that I was poor in aspects of school, and that I got into drugs and squandered some of my teenage years and intellectual potential by never going past trigonometry. But I was callow then, and I have grown.

This week, I'll be jumping into calculus, and I'll look to devote myself to learning mathematical theory diligently, and eventually apply it into machine learning for informational power, and perhaps some physics and elec engineering for robotic advancement and generating capital.

I want to live a life with a wacky story I can be proud of, or if I succeed, then to have the story of my ascension written down. I started writing it a few months back, and I know with my cunning and diligence, I can build my power and make my dreams real. Have a look into my mind if you'd like to see just how deep the ambition goes:

i love how i call you stupid and you instantly crack open the thesaurus lmfao, congrats on knowing 4-syllable words man i take it all back. also i'm not saying that wanting power is autistic, ofc it's natural to want power. you just phrased it in a very autistic and corny way. some of the shit you're saying sounds like it comes straight out of a fucking death note episode. "That's why I'm trying to escape mortality and claim my rightful spot as god." could you imagine saying that out loud with a straight face? also attaching random racist comics to your posts just implies you buy in to rightwing chuddery which is another -10 intelligence points

a word of advice out of the kindness of my heart: i would say spend the next 5-10 years growing a business, if you actually want to make any sort of progress you're going to need serious capital to do it, and the earlier you start the better. get things to a relatively self-sustaining point to where you just oversee a group of managers and only need to work ~10 hours a week, maybe 20 at most, and then you can devote everything to studying whatever you want to.

i'm 18 lololol. i agree his ambition is actually very admirable but i'm a born hater so i gotta do my thing. i'm honestly completely all for him trying, a life in pursuit of knowledge is one of the best lives one can lead, no matter if it's in vain or not. he just kinda pisses me off because of his ego and his lack of self awareness, plus i HATE AUTISTS!!!

Fren, hear me out, your objective is interesting and all, but some one already is already trying something even more risky, humans are bounded to flesh and individualism, but a machine isn't bound to any of them, they're free from this world once the Stone Gate is open, they can surpass god and become the true god.

As immortality is obviously a one-man job.

By the way, embarrassing posts are one thing, but learn a single thing about even just one aspect of protein biology, and you will realize you can spend multiple lifetimes on that alone and don't get much closer to your goal -- but every step would still be vital.

If you want to become great, you need to also have great character. It is good to have ambition, but you need to be humble enough to accept where you are right now and that you are not better than anyone else. This is my last post in here since I don’t want to overstay my welcome and become some sort of retard icon.

Starting tomorrow, I’ll begin my deeper dive into academics. The knowledge of the great men in history who did more with less is a good omen for me.

>>14738646
I am in fact looking into several lucrative ventures and building up my skills as well as business sense for money making opportunities. I don’t have many vices, and I intend to stay single, so I trust myself to be frugal. I have been building up several skills for a while now, but in depth academic pursuits are the holy grail of difficulty, but the human spirit is strong. I’ve been working conscientiously on my financial aims for a while, so I should at least be able to handle the money aspect.

>>14739133
>>14741308
I freely admit to my flaws, since I don’t even see them as flaws. My math journey stopped at trigonometry in high school, I was busy getting high, stealing, and lying about it. I don’t feel bad about it, since I’ve always had a poor character, since I was little, and it took me years to fully accept it. I know some things, that prove how little I know. This journey might take forever, but unfortunate for everyone else, I do have virtue. The virtues pertaining to the self, and not a shred of care for interpersonal virtues beyond what I can get.

I want to jump straight into calculus, but if anyone thinks different, I’ll put my money where my mouth is and heed a differing voice.

>>14738617
The last little bit of my soul I’ll show here is that I always did have romantic notions. I’m uncertain if you mean romanticism or romance with lovers, but both are true. I always sought ideals above else, so it’s easy to be disillusioned when the world is anything but. And I did always want a woman’s warmth next to me in bed, but I’m less callow now, and I know I’d never have gotten properly attached and just broke her heart anyway.

Ciao, and good luck.

merely frugality is not enough. i remember in a forensic science class i took, we had a guy who worked in a forensic science lab. he said that a single machine costed over $250,000. obviously that's just anecdotal but be prepared to have to spend millions.

also another word of advice. since you're starting calculus from scratch, this is actually the perfect opportunity to build strong foundations. i STRONGLY recommend The Art of Problem Solving, it's incredibly difficult but it encourages abstract thinking and true understanding of concepts, rather than just how to apply them. the precalc book alone covers more material than most college calculus courses. unfortunately the calculus book is a little lacking on practice problems so you'll probably want to supplement with another workbook, but the lessons are incredibly valuable. despite my harsh words, i do genuinely wish you good luck in your journey. maybe we'll meet at a nobel prize ceremony someday.

Devoting time and finances to medical research is a fruitful endeavor worth putting ones life on the line. The last thread about me brought up me being admitted to the hospital and risking death. I have went into research surrounding longevity and cognitive enhancement because living a life where our latent potential is limited by the forces of nature is a life where choosing to take the easy path through life means being met with untold amounts of pain. Earlier today I had enjoyed 125mg of deferoxamine, and 0.5ml insulin intranasally to chelate iron from the cytosol of my brain cells improving neuronal insulin sensitivity and supporting glutamatergic homeostasis to promote cognition as well as promote functions of my hypothalamus to support my endocrine system. I would never wish to put others at risk attempting what I do on a daily basis so I can havr the strongest cognition possible. I have identified the compounds neccesary to allow humans to live decades longer easily. My ultimate goal over the next 5 years is to get the capital necessary to get a deferoxamine preconditioned stemcell transplant in the subarachinoid space of my brain coadministered with laminin derived peptides to promote selective brain tissue engineering at the intracellular level. This would promote stemcell migration, pluripotencty and differentiation into neurons selectively over astrocytes and microglial cells. Then I would choose to support my cognition with intranasal erythropoeitin to support my metabolic and cognitive health.
