As someone who got degree in mathematics I am truly upset by all the bullshit I spent 4 years digesting, . For example, remember when you learned about Galois theory and how you cannot trisect an angle or draw a regular 7-gon! Well that's bullshit! Total bullshit! Simply fold up your paper into a regular heptagon thusly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnO6qyQ2fU8

Or when you learned about P vs NP and how all these famous people can't solve the bus scheduling problem. Of course you can, just not exactly! One can easily obtain an approximate solution! Moreover this would imply that people can never learn languages since PAC-learning a regular language allows you to solve the NP complete RSA cryptosystem. Or when you learned that it is impossible to decide if a computer system is secure because the file access permissions map onto the Turing machine making it reduce to the halting problem. Of course it is that's why you don't let people write arbitrary files everywhere but segregate everything.

Or what about supply and demand equilibria? Go to the produce markets in Budapest and you'll find the same kilo of bananas priced variously at 250, 280, 300, 500, and 600 Forints and all of these are walking distance from each other. And it's not just in Budapest. At one supermarket in San Juan shrimp will go for $17 a pound, and at a supermarket walking distance away it'll go for $25 a pound since the second one is supposedly classier.
Heard of the Prisoner's Dilemma, and about how the optimal outcome is to betray your partner in crime? Yeah do that on the streets and you'll gain a reputation as a snitch and have your whole family massacred. But hey, according to mathematicians betraying your fellow prisoner is the optimal outcome!!! Mathematics is what overeducated tenured old white men think the real world works because it's so logical. But the real world has so many variables at play you can't just draw a graph and where the intersection meets is market equilibrium.
