For the exception of a few, all of you are pants on head retarded. I cringe reading threads and seeing some of the retarded posts you make. 70% are NEETS who have absolutely no knowledge about the field. Going back to /g/

That and undergraduate children who've never left their hometown or paid their own bills and assume that mathematical proficiency will compensate for any lack of adult-level experience and insight about the world. The political, economical, philosophical, and historical competence of this board makes me fear for the future.

Even if no part of a humanities curriculum could serve to broaden your understanding of the world around you in any way that applied mathematics and the scientific method cannot, you still have no frame of reference for how old your ideas are, and your communication skills are abysmal. If you want to talk to me about employability then i've got it in spades on you you, you retarded little shit.

This exchange reminds me of a conversation I had in a physics lab where some guy was bragging to me about how he was going to be a consultant after he graduated with a degree in Mechanicals Engineering. He was positive he’d be making six figures out of college. He had that empty sociopathic gaze.

I just told him he had no idea what he was talking about. And these people really don’t. I kinda recommend most people get a job before going to college. Unless you know for a fact what it feels like to grind a 9-5 and know that’s going to be the rest of your life, then you don’t have a clear perspective on what education can mean.

This. Sometimes I cant believe there are people who are ~20 year olds and still haven't worked a 40 hour week (or held a job, for the matter), but the amount of social ineptitude on this board in particular blows my mind.
