>watt
>unit of "electricity"
>my face

by the way, what is "electricity" supposed to mean?

>> No.994595

so what is it?

>> No.994598

JEWel

>> No.994599

A watt is a measure of power not "electricy".

It makes more sense for it to be coulombs or maybe amps becuase it's the charge flow that causes the "electricity".

>> No.994618

eV

>> No.994620

"electricity" is a phenomenon that is not clearly defined in common usage, and thus does not even have a clear dimensionality, much less an accepted standard unit.

The MKS unit of current is the Amp, which is a rate of charge flow equal to one Coulomb per second through a given conductor cross-section.

Oh, and /thread

>> No.994626

If by "electricity" you mean "electrical current" then yes, unit is Amp

next question

what's the unit of motion?

>> No.994637

>>994629
pound foot.

In MKS units, velocity is measured in meters per second (m/s). Acceleration is m/s^2.

>> No.994639

>>994629
an inch

ITT: Why science has a very specific technical vocabulary

For instance "work" is a very specific concept in classical physics that has nothing to do with the other meanings of the word in common usage.

electricity is the unit of wat?

nah dawg, that's charge, which is part of electricity but electricity is a broad term, could mean anything but this nigger is trolling

Truth, but it fits better than volts or amps, since they are more akin to being descriptions of energy. But you are right, matter of perception.
